Sid I tried that Don Julio Anejo neat last night and it didn’t pass. The Tequila dragons made an appearance. I tried a second time with a very, very small dash of agave syrup and the dragon didn’t show up so it’s right on the border line. I have a friend down in the Florida panhandle, every few weeks we get together, I either go down there or she comes up for the weekend. She keeps saying she wants me to take her on a cruise and I keep telling her get a passport and we’ll go. She’s be a bit of a drinker at times, to be honest she can drink most of the guys I know under the table if she is drinking bourbon or rum; but she has a problem with tequila. Have you heard that Joe Nichols song from the early 2000’s that went to #1 ‘Tequila makes her clothes fall off’ if I didn’t know better I would swear it was written about her. I think I will save the Don Julio for her after all it does make a great Margarita. That will also keep her out of my bourbon.

I really enjoyed the ride and I picked a couple tips about a place I thought I knew. My next real cruise isn’t until next April.

Have a safe flight home, I will ketch you the first part of December for the Celebration cruise.

Rick

Getting the rest of my dirty clothes ready to bag up and place inside my suitcase. First, taped in a black plastic bag, then that placed inside of another garbage bag. This is going in my clean suitcase, and I'm trying to keep it that way.

@Sid_9169....look at the food thing this way.....if you ate like you are eating on Virgina 24/7 you would not keep your fabulous mid life svelt figure!

It's been a fabulous review, one of your best, so glad you were able to get out and have some fun and enjoy yourself.

Yes we have missed you over on the TRIBE, but I'll take a Sid review anyday!

Thank you for the review Sid.  Sorry to hear about the beach situation.  May I ask the meaning of the Dexter 2024 shirt?  I have tried to google it but all I can find are T-shirts.  Thank you again.

A lot of ship's here at POM this morning. Royal"s Explorer of the Seas, the Carnival something, probably Horizon, a Norwegian Breakaway or Breakaway Plus Class vessel, and another of Royal's behemoth's of the Seas...

Have you ever seen the Showtime series Dexter? Or, the newer series Dexter: New Blood?

I have not, I don't have Showtime.  So it is a reference to the show I take it.  Thank you again for taking the time to do a live review.

Great review Sid!  Been considering Virgin for a while and your review has really helped! Interested in your thoughts if it’s a good fit for 60 year olds?

I've seen plenty of sixty year olds, and more. If you love great food and drinks, and of course, the adults only aspect, you'll love Virgin Voyages.

Yes Sid, B2Bs are the best!  We are set to board Scarlet Lady June 29th and have been anticipating and enjoying your angle pics, food porn and posts daily.  The vibes of the ship, crew and sailors as well as your port wanderings are palpable.

With us being unable to taste all the yummy items at the restaurants on one short cruise, do you mind putting together a list of your most tastebud tingling discoveries from your multiple Virgin Voyages!?  After you get home and decompress with your own Don Julio Anejo therapy, of course!  (and laundry!)  We all love a great filet, but don't want to just repeat a standard when there are so many unusual creations, like the Dorade at The Wake that we are unlikely to ever see again.

What the heck, Don may even convince you write a lookback of the most notable hits and misses.

We can only guess being "One of the Most Interesting" sailors aboard got you the private invite last night.  Well done Sid.

Getting the pool deck ready for a whole new set of Sailors... I wish that I could stay on board for another round, but I've got to get back to work tomorrow. It's not going to be easy to readjust to everyday life, after spending eleven straight days off. This is as close to "retirement" as I'll ever get...
