New masks have a coating that should be dealt with. As for fogging, diluted baby shampoo works fine.

 

For the first, toothpaste works fine - put it on a DRY mask and rub for a while, then rinse.

 

For baby shampoo, you can often find a travel size at Walmart or other stores.

I will try to remain “5 drinks in Megan” the whole cruise, but I can’t make any promises. “Liberty casino bar Megan at 1am” should not be raising kids. Wardrobe will stay the same. My kids are use to that. 😉

Heading over for my 10 AM boarding appointment in just a couple hours. Obviously I’m ready and have been since waking up at 6:45, lol! Good luck with the rest of your prep and drive down. Hope y’all are ready for this heat and humidity! Gonna need a frozen drink asap!

This little yellow x is giving the roll call some stress. Plus, the day we are scheduled to be in Cozumel there’s a 40% chance of rain. I’m much more concerned about Covid testing and getting to the port. Tropics gonna tropic or in my Pharrell voice “tropic like it’s hot” or something.

If it isn’t packed, you don’t need it. Everyone shall live in their underwear the next 36-48 hours.

 At least one, maybe 2 of these won’t make to the journey to the port. And I do have a snack bag. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Definitely not for the ship but for the hotel and the road trip. Since we can’t have potty breaks, we definitely can’t stop for food… but maybe a Buccee’s if we can sneak it in. 😆

I hear you and understand, but on the other hand I commend @MeganGC1983 a lot.  She seems to be a pretty well balanced woman who knows how to be a great mom to her kids and when it is time for her and DH to just have fun on their own.

 

It is not easy balancing home life, work life, kid life and your own life!

 

I figure this cruise will be the family side of @MeganGC1983and there will be plenty of 15+ Cheers cruises for her down the road!

Oh I am ready. We have dance pictures and two softball games tonight… I’ll probably sneak in a white claw or two later… headed to OKC tomorrow for the Bachelorette festivities tomorrow night. I just keep going, thinking about those ocean breezes and Lido music. 91 hours til ship time!

This is pretty much our at home dress code during the summer. It's too bloody hot for anything additional.

Happy Friday! Last night, no white claws were consumed. The second game went into extra innings, and by the time we got home, it was showers and bed time. The Saharan dust was pretty heavy here in SW Oklahoma yesterday. With the wind sweeping down the plains and the dust, it was pretty gross. 
Up and at Em this morning. Mr. Megan made it in last night from work. He’s on kid coverage while I Bachelorette party it up this evening. I decided to go ahead and print the excursion info. from Viator. And saw something I’ve never seen. (See below) Now maybe I’m tired or maybe I’m too sober this am, but I clicked on “Get Tickets” and it goes to this… “This is not your entry ticket” Upon further reading, you use this to get your ticket once you get to Playa Mia… seems like extra unneeded steps to me, but ok. Guess we will see how it goes.

Yellow x seems to be stationary. We might have some rain, but I trust our captain will get us through. All the Carnival Captains I’ve ever sailed with have been excellent as far as I could tell. And for the month of June, they should all be really well rested since they aren’t having to pull double duty at Cucina. That’s how it works right?! Each captain makes his own signature dish? Seems legit. 😉
