Most "smoker friendly" cruise lines

I'm looking to book a cruise in February 2023 & wondered which line has more smoking areas or outside smoking bar areas?  I've checked out a few ships and they seem to have 1 small walled in section to smoke far away from anything.

Thank you for your help

Even MSC has tightened smoking restrictions on their cruises from the USA.  I do not think any English speaking cruise ship is "smoker friendly."   A few lines (like MSC and some HAL ships) allow smoking in part of their casinos but most lines do now restrict smoking a few designated outdoor areas.   As time goes on the restrictions seem to become more severe which reflects public opinion and public health policy.

Carnival still allows smoking in their casinos, as does Princess, although Princess will have non-smoking nights.  MSC Armonia had a lovely smoking lounge, but I don’t remember about Divina or Seaside.  EM

Divina had a smoking lounge but it was a cigar bar!  Folks could smoke cigarettes, but most cigarette smokers cannot handle cigars :).

Best you can hope for theses days is an outdoor area or two (usually by a pool deck) the casino, and cigar lounge. Not all ships will have all of those.

The mainstream lines are all about the same with the exception of Celebrity which bans smoking in the casino. Big ships may have more smoking spaces, but it can be farther to a smoking space because big ship.

Note that rules are pretty strictly enforced on all lines, especially no smoking in cabins or balconies.

We are cigar smokers who have been on around 25 cruises .We have sailed Carnival, HAL, Princess and Celebrity.  By far, the best experience as smokers, is Celebrity.

. Celebrity is known as a very good line for those who hate smoke, since there is NO indoor smoking area, not even the casino,  on any of their ships. However,

the Celebrity S class ( Solstice, Equinox , Reflection, Silhouette and Eclipse) and even more so the E class ( Edge, Apex and Beyond) respect smokers by providing very nice and comfortable outdoor  places   to smoke and enjoy the views, with nearby bars, without being in an area that non-smokers "have to" walk through.  ( ex: one side of the Sunset Bar on these ships). So it keeps everyone happy!

The only Celebrity ships that have "meh" smoking areas, are the M-class ( Millennium, Summit, Constellation, Infinity). We avoid those.
