Could it have been the sky suite? I have used one before, but can’t remember which ship. Maybe I’ll try a move up bid for a RS. That will give us a dining table AND a separate shower!

I was in an Accessible Sky Suite on Equinox and there was nothing except a TV Tray table.  As my memory is slowing coming back I think the cantilevered table was on Edge in  a CS.

I am curios to know if the second night is evening chic will they have enough time to dry clean my husbands Tux jacket and get back before dinner 2nd night ? I have a couple items free with elite status and planned on sending things out for dry clean and press as soon as possible. It will of course not be the end of the world but was just curious .I thought maybe day 3-4.

So enjoyed your photos of your tour of Arcadia.  We did Ollie’s our several years ago and also enjoyed touring with them.

Can’t understand why Celebrity keeps putting tubs in suites.

Walk in showers are much safer.

Thanks Jim for today’s pix.  Anymore about Acadia, our favorite Maine place?

There may be some changes.   First off -  Yesterday they had 2 ships in port.   The guide said that it is overpowering the city and starting next year they will be allowing only one ship per day in port at the same time.

2nd -   Starting this year they are allowing Electric and Electric Assisted Bikes on the trail roads in the park.   They have opened a number of rental locations within the park.

They have opened a company called Arcadia Gem - which rent electrical vehicles - 2 - 4 and 6 Passengers.  They can be used in town and in the park.

Not sure if this is new but they have a Free Bus Service called Explorer Express, sponsored by LL Bean.   They are propane buses and on their site have a live tracker to where the buses current location.   Great way to save money and visit most if not all the places the tour buses go.

It may vary by the Itinerary.    On our 3 cruises on this trip the First Chic nights have always been on the 2nd Night.   We had the first last night.

About the only way to get it back from Dry Cleaning or Pressing is to pay for the Same Day Service.     I've had the same issue.   One all of our segments there are 3 Chic Nights.

You can go to the App and check the same itinerary of your cruise for a current cruise and they will show Chic Nights by going to the Planner and look at about 5 - 5:30 and will say Chic Photo Night.   Why they don't just show the Chic nights in a single location is beyond me as it is one of the most frequently asked question.

I would say our Guide was one of the best we had.    Being funny but not overboard and very knowledgeable.   She was very exacting on her stop timing but was funny as times to be back to bus were things like 11:26, 1:08  2:12.      She got us back to town exactly 2:30 on the dot.

I agree with your thoughts on showers -  I occasionally (maybe every 5 years )  use the jetted tubs.    At home when I remodeled  I took out all of our tubs and replaced with walk in large showers with jetted sprayers (which we never use).

Your pictures are so amazing. The colors are brilliant. You have quite the eye. And Iain looks like a character!

Thanks.... I would have to say we do a lot of clowning around with pictures.    Believe me Iain is a Character.   All I have to do is say "Give me an Iain" and he strikes a pose or a eye motion.

I very much enjoyed reading this thread in preparation for our joining you on this cruise. I think we saw you in the retreat lounge by the window from the deck 4 promenade before dinner.

Your comments on Al bacio are on target. It has become our favorite place on the ship.

Thanks so much Jim.  We haven’t been up there in 5 or 6 years and very glad to see the environmental changes.

We used this service back in 2019.

Same here, used them back in 2017. May be it is free if you have National Parks membership, but I think we paid 22$ pp. Still, it was worth it, since we could stop and go according to our preferences.

We used Ollie's only for Cadillac Mountain, and as you, lucked out on a wonderful day.

My favorite barista is Andril    He makes the perfect dry Cappuccino.   Unfortunately he’s in quarantine  and I hear has a mild case

Today we joined a small tour to Peggy’s Cove that was arranged by Rita of our Roll Call.  Great day again in the mid 70’s

Do you know that name of the tour guide?  I would love to return to Peggy's Cove on my cruise next year and perhaps organize a small tour on the roll call.  Last time I was there, it was so cold and windy, it wasn't enjoyable.  Looks like you had a perfect day!

Sorry I didn't take a look at the van.
