bguppies Posted August 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2022 A hand me down from Costa does not excite me much. But any NEW ship added to an aging fleet is an improvement.
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted August 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2022 I’m definitely looking into booking her first TP. Gotta budget in the flight though.

Carnival needs some smaller ships but doesn't seem interested in building them. I thought acquiring a smaller ship that is newer than all of their other smaller ships was significant. I'm not going to rush out and book it but I do think it's an important addition. Edited August 23, 2022 by Saint Greg
TN Roz Posted August 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2022 I'm very excited but was kind of disappointed to hear that it will be missing several Carnival staples such as Guys Burgers and Blue Iguana.

Want to seeand feel the difference Their fleet has jumped light years in the past twnety months. Not the way they imagined it would happen, but at the end of the day, it matters not.

Rare Essiesmom Posted August 29, 2022 #11 Share Posted August 29, 2022 Love Spirit class. If she sailed from the East Coast, I would go. Not going to Australia, done Alaska twice. EM

I'm sure they will have a good time but you do realize that there's no water park, ropes course, slides and the other bells and whistles.

It looks like Camp Ocean with a playground....pool...basketball court...arcade. https://www.carnival.com/cruise-ships/carnival-luminosa.aspx
