$400 Freeplay@cage??

I just booked a sailing in 2024 and this is showing up in my Cruise Personalizer: *** **** $400 Freeplay@cage  Does anybody know what this means?  Am I getting a $400 credit to use in the Casino?  ( I deleted the seven letters and digit that appears before the $400.  I don't know if that's a redemption code of some sort.)

Thanks in advance.

Yep, go to the cashier. They'll ask you if you want to use it for slots or table games.

I knew you would know the answer!  Can you divide it up between slots and table games?  Also, this is on top of the OBC I'm getting?

That is very strange.  Mine usually show as they are in the screenshot below.  If you play slots, the free play should be on the machine when you log in.  If they aren't or if you want to play table games, go to the cashier.  Would recommend that you take along the documentation about the $400 on the off chance that the casino doesn't know about it.  Yup, it happens!

Thanks, that page is already printed and in the folder for this cruise!

Cannot be split.

For table games they give you special chips that can only be played, not cashed in.

You'll be paid off in normal chips.

This should be in addition to any OBC who already have.

I'm assuming that the OBC is showing up in your cruise summary as well.

Are you saying that they added this to an existing reservation?

If so, Mazel Tov!

In our experience, we just had to go to the casino cage to have the freeplay applied to our account.  It’s super quick and simple.  When you go to the machine to transfer the money to the machine, just choose the amount of freeplay you want to play.  I’m not exactly sure how it works at the tables, though but I’m sure it’s not too difficult.
And yes, this is in addition to your other OBC.  Very nice .. congrats!

No, I booked this cruise yesterday.  I didn't even know I was going to get this Freeplay at all.  I just happened to come across it as I was reviewing the new booking in the Cruise Personalizer.  Nice surprise!

I wonder if this was also available to me for my cruise last January and I missed it...

For future bookings,  look at your account on Princess.com. and click on "Onboard Credits".

You should be able to see any casino free-play promotions attached to your account.

They usually show up there before they even email you an offer.

The $100 Casino promotion credit and my FCD OBC show on that page.  I just discovered my Freeplay by accident when I was looking at the Onboard Activity Reservations Tab and the Freeplay showed up at the bottom of that page.

It was like reaching into the pocket of a coat I hadn't worn for a while and finding some cash I had left in there!  🤑

I have that on one of my cruises as well.  It is only showing up on the "onboard services" tab but not on the "travel summary" nor in my "onboard credits" page.

Mine too; when I called, the rep couldn't see it, neither could the casino department. They could only see the ones in the "future credits". My cruise is sailing later than those expire, so that's not it, but I printed the onboard services page, and am hoping that it's good enough; if not, no harm no foul; maybe something else will pop up before the cruise. 🙂

Did you find Freeplay on the onboard services page?  I hope so.

Did you book thru a travel agent or direct with Princess?

See my prior post at #13 in this thread...  I booked directly with Princess, and I am having the booking transferred over to my TA.  YMMV.

If I recall correctly, about freeplay table chips:  If you win they take the freeplay chip.  I.e. bet $10 freeplay chip, win, they pay $10 then take the freeplay chip away.  On slots, if you play $10 freeplay and win you still have the $10 freeplay.  I may be wrong but that's what I remember.
