Stuck to the standbys.  The Green Tea was modified. Star Lounge didn't have Midori. So I called an audible and used Apple Pucker.

I did not know there is a frozen drink called Blue Hawaii.   What is the flavor like.  I am learning a new frozen almost every cruise. 😌

Freedom had a Samick, I'm pretty sure, and it actually was not a bad piano. It had a bright sound. Some grands sound muffled when the cabinet is closed.

A lot like a pina colada. Very creamy. Laura found it overly sweet. It was my first drink

 

Laura went with a lemon drop martini, sugar rim, but in a rocks glass. Safety first at the pool.

 

It was strong. Drank it dowm a bit, then went and had some sour mix added. Much better

 

Might as well finish pool. Went there after lunch to wait for 1:30. Packed swimwear in back pack, so we changed in rest room.

 

What should I wear 🤔

Trying to keep backpack in shade. Some chocolate in there.

John--- A few weeks ago when we were on the bermuda  8 night sailing, Pinnacles could not use the suite lounge because there were too many.  So are Pinnacles allowed to use Suite lounge on your cruise?? Is Mikhail Gonsalves still the Concierge???

Food was ok except for roast beef. Way overdone, but that's typical. Apparently you are supposed to remove paper before eating the wrap. Oops

 

Waldorf. The red apples were a little squishy. And no raisins @A&L_Ont

 

Bean salad. Hoping to find the corn and black bean salsa later

Mikhail still concierge. Seems very quiet. We are allowed in. Not sure how many Pins are on this trip. I did enjoy coffee up there. Really don't care one way or another for happy hour up there

Our cabin is a typical balcony. A little dated, but functional. Plenty of storage for one, I'm sure it would be fine for a couple. The fridge is definitely a thermo electric cooler. Put a Corona in yesterday, and it seems cold enough to drink. Forgot my thermometer. Sorry

I used to get 3 wine's as well, but some time ago it was reported that linked solos on same sailing only get 1 set of ammenities. No biggie

 

Opened the divider, Laura's balcony is a little smaller since she's on tail end of hump. Have the nice reclining chairs, but no stools. Actually a little crowded in my opinion. And the doors need a little TLC. They don't slide easily

After unpacking, Laura wanted to turn her milestone request in to LA, so I said I'd meet her in Schooner. Ran into the Back to the Freedom crowd. It was a cruise in 2017 where Laura got adopted by a fun group. Visited with Mary, Mark, Amy, Tina, and Paul. Saw Terry on pool deck earlier. 

 

Off to Cafe Promenade for pizza. No line, good pie, but no seats. So off to the Pub. Lots of seats. 

 

Bad lighting, good pizza

 

Scratch Newcastle off the list. Bottles in pub, draft in other venues. Weird

 

Moscow Mule. Very gingery. Curious what ginger beer they use. Kinda burned back of throat

 

Time to sail away and change for dinner

If $14 is their lowest price for a drink now and you get vouchers for the drinks, I would sure hope it still covers Royal's cheapest drinks at  least. If not we got real trouble.

 

I'm sure that letter John got is just a generic letter stating the $13 price. It will be changed I'm sure.

You know, I don't know. I'm just looking at my list to order. No surcharges yet. I do have a couple tiki bar drinks on my list. Those may get surcharges

 

Is anyone else sailing now noticing an annoying pop up for Icon reveal when they use the app. It sux. Thinking about voicing my opinion to anyone who will listen.  Once is fine, but every time is not

 

Also don't see any drinks in SL last night. Might be on Laura's account
