Do RCL Ships Still Serve A One Night Lobster Night in The MDR

Some where we saw that Lobster was discontinued  in the NDR  of ECL Ships . Is this   true or perhaps we are confusing it with other cruise lines we sail on ?

Only on cruises of seven nights or longer. They were served on our 10/13 Adventure sailing.

June and July on the Jewel, 24 days and no lobster.

 

On the Odyssey now 13 night T/A and had it one night. Not very good either.

And we were on Jewel in September and they had it on the second formal night

We sailed on Enchantment four times this year, all eight or twelve nights.  They had lobster on the second formal night every time.

Cruises outside of NA are much less likely to have lobster so that is not unusual.

The quality of the lobster really isn't that good so no big deal to me either way.

Had it on Adventure 8nt last week…both tails were excellent as always.

On the November 5th-12th 7 night cruise aboard Serenade the MDR served lobster tail one night.  I don't like lobster, so I didn't partake.

We had lobster on one of the sea days on Mariner and it was delicious!  Plus, our waiter brought us as many plates as we wanted.  We had to stop him at four.  And all served with drawn butter.  Mmm, it was soooo good!

A waiter once asked me why I didn't want to order lobster. I didn't have the heart to tell him that there are many better things on the menu than a tiny flavorless tail that you have to drown in butter to get it down.

I never thought the lobster was that special either . 

I order it , but no big deal.

Well we all know that the waiters like to push extra lobster tails in hopes that they will get a bigger tip.  

Is there a set rate for this....maybe a dollar a tail? 🤔

Boarding the Wonder for 7 nights next month. Looked at the menu and no lobster to be found. OMG! What to do?!

 

Answer: We're still going and I'm sure the food will be fabulous, even without the lobster! There were some new things on the menu that we've not seen before, as well!

Well it isn't Maine lobster any how   .It has never been Maine   lobster  . It is from  somewhere else   .not very many people would ever turn down Maine lobster tails 😁

We were on Jewel in Europe and had it in September.

 

Cannot believe all the fuss over it and the greed of some people ordering multiple portions

Was on Freedom (4 day) in May and they didn't have it as a regular offering. I chose to upgrade to it one night in the MDR because I had an OBC, and I wasn't super impressed with it either.

That lobster isn’t.  If you want SPECIAL lobster, you have to go to Maine.  The stuff they serve on board is awful.

Sailed 5 nights in March and 4 nights in April out of Galveston on Adventure OTS. Had lobster on the 5 night but not the 4. I asked our server and he said there wasn’t a lobster night on 4 night sailing.

I totally agree and don't order it ever.

 

When these people eat lobster, it's like they lifted themselves into a new level of class and sophistication.

Had it on the Radiance and it was quite good.
