I’m literally so afraid. We are gonna just grab another suitcase before we get to the airport.

I know you are already home but many cruises ago, I had to go to the gift shop and buy one of those suitcases that zipper up to a flat square.  Most of the time throw shoes and any dirty clothes and use for a carry or check if Southwest so I can fill my suitcase.  Went to Disney World last week with my DOL and granddaughters and thank goodness I brought it!

Mona won $40. And I won the bingo package.

Just got off Vista yesterday. in our DoND game the first contestant won $10. The second contestant won $1000. He passed up a a couple of good offers including one for a little over $600. He stuck to his guns and pulled it off. I won a bingo package and casino fun play so I was happy.

Yes, we prefer in cash because it goes straight to them. When you put it on the slip, they share.

I'm glad someone brought this up as that's what we've always thought.  On our last cruise in October (Spirit out of Miami), we watched the Alchemy bartenders stick the cash in a shared bucket by the register.  We asked the Alchemy crew about cash tips vs tipping on the receipt and they said the cash is shared and the receipt tip is to the specific person.  We verified this with our long time waiter friend in the atrium bar on that same cruise.  Is it possible it's different per ship?

Well, well, well, here we are again CCers, just days away from another sailing, this time on the beautiful Carnival Panorama.
It seems like last week, I was on the Scarlet Lady… wait! It was. I didn’t even completely unpack. I’ve lived out of the suitcase for the time being, and really, that’s completely okay. 😆

This will actually be my first time on a Vista class ship. I’ve never seen an “atrium” funnel in person, and I’m not sure how I feel about the lack of glass elevators. But, I’m sure I’ll adjust somehow, probably with help from the Cheers! package.
So join me as we fly to Long Beach on Friday, board on Saturday, and sail the Mexican Rivera for 7 nights of the same menus (you’ve seen previously), 3 ports (you are probably all ready familiar with), and adult beverages (plenty)! Let’s go cruising! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Love your live review!!  I'm heading out on Magic this January.  Know any crew there that I can say "no rice, no power" to?  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Have a great cruise. I don’t think I know anyone, personally, but they all appreciate it. 😆

I’ve seen this as well. I “think” Alchemy might have different rules than other bars. It might just depend.

I have been told it depends on the bar. Alchemy is supposed to be shared. I've seen shared tip jars at the Tiki Bar on Mardi Gras and the Comedy club bar on Breeze. I have had one bartender specifically tell me he likes write-in tips better because they go directly to his account at the end of the night. I haven't heard the write-in tips are shared thing before.

Apologies for the delay. The catch up has been a little harder this cruise with Christmas time and what not.
In conclusion:

The Panorama is a fabulous ship! So many things to do for everyone. We are hoping to take our kids back on her in the spring to experience Sky Zone, the sky ride (still bummed I put it off), and to see Teo! The staff was amazing, and the food was above par. We didn’t experience any real dining room wait times with YTD. The only food issue was trying to get in Jiji’s for lunch and PIZZA.

I’m not a fan of Liquid Lounges, and Carnival still needs to work out the waiting for Comedy Club. I think switching it up and putting it in the Liquid Lounges on some nights does help some, but that doesn’t help the problem when people stand in line for 30 minutes to Punchliners and still don’t get in. Also, the football problem is really a mess. Poor Christian was a “one man bartending show” the whole Sunday with standing room only in the Heroes Bar. During a busy college football Saturday and add a Sunday, that would be awful.

The ports were amazing, and I definitely agree with whomever said this itinerary is underrated. I wish we had more time in Cabo, but other than that, it was super enjoyable. That water is colder than the Caribbean, but not too bad.
Thank you, as always, for following along!! I can’t wait to hear about all of your upcoming cruises. My next adventure is 30 days away on the Valiant Lady, so I hope you’ll all come along again! Cheers CC!!

They should definitely have more than one bartender in there and I believe they had two or three when I was on Panorama during football season. But that Hero's bar is bigger than any Skybox sports bar they have on Carnival. Then the P&A has TVs and usually just one game on. No casino bar. The only thing I can think of they could do is add TVs behind the P&A bar. That's not a very big bar though. More TVs in the P&A. Maybe put a game on in the Punchliner if nothing is going on in there during the day.

But yeah when the Cardinals were on TNF the hand sanitizer station was my table.

Christian had a bar back he shared with casino bar. That’s all I ever saw there. @Saint Greg you were lucky to get the hand sanitizer station. When the Steelers were playing, that path in your picture was not even there.

That path is left open because of the people sitting in chairs against the back wall. Any standing there would be blocking their view.
