National Energy Conversation Day. I will reduce talking by 50% today which will be impossible for me. 😀

Oh, wait, I got it wrong, It’s National Energy Conservation Tour.  To do this I will eat more today so I can conserve energy and walk half the speed I normally do which means, just call me tortoise. 😀

Good morning from beautiful Southwest Florida.

Nice day again here with sunny skies and a high of 83.

Good selection of days and I like the quote.

Argentina made it to the World Cup final game with their win over Croatia yesterday and will meet the winner of today's Morocco-France match.

Wasn't able to find out yesterday about our 120 dollar charge after our NA cruise, could not talk to a live person in Customer Relations, we are very unhappy with HAL right now and have probably cruised with them for the last time.

Off to the golf course in a few minutes.

Thanks for The Daily, everyone stay well and have a great day.

Hello from the Oosterdam.

We just visited Cape Horn and are now sailing north - into the sun. We have a sea day, before arriving in Falkland Islands tomorrow.

Cape1.jpg.1915b1d8f978506a82dc7b75b1963656.jpg

The Cape Horn Memorial.

Infamous for churning seas and wicked winds, this passage is one of the apex predators of the maritime world. It’s believed that more than 10,000 seamen have perished “rounding the horn.” The sculpture was designed by Chilean sculptor José Balcells Eyquem in 1992 and depicts an albatross in flight—the seafaring symbol for souls lost at sea.

Good morning.  Thanks for the Daily and Fleet Report.

Another cold day today and a bad storm heading for us tomorrow, hope the power stays on.

A great collection of days.  I try to be "More Good" everyday, I hope I succeed.  I will try to conserve energy and not get the car out today.  I've never roasted chestnuts.

Love the quote.

The meal sounds good, looking forward to seeing the recipe.  The drink sounds like something my hubby would enjoy.  I'm sure the wine is something we both will enjoy.

I've never been to today's port.

I think I'll do some baking today, maybe some cookies, maybe some butter tarts.

Prayers for everyone.  Cheers for all the celebrations.

Have a wonderful day.

Stay safe.

Good morning! Up early after some bad war dreams. Rare but they still pop up now and then but I handle them well other then waking up! We had a wonderful evening out enjoying sizzling fajitas and top shelf margaritas and our designated driver did just fine.

We are in line in for what could be some severe weather in the next twenty four hours. We are currently getting some much needed rain.

We both had our pedicures yesterday and are proud owners of “happy feet!” Also got a haircut and our cleaning lady left us with a sparkling house. So lot’s got done yesterday and maybe today’s  main attraction is watching it rain.

Thanks for the reports and daily testimonies!

Thank you for the Hump Day report, Rich.  I won't be roasting chestnuts but very supportive of More Good and Energy conservation.  The Peter Pan quote is definitely interesting.  I have not been to Aomori.  I'd like the sauteed apples but will pass on the Latkes.  My alternative is Chilled Apricot Soup with Snow Egg, Prime Rib au Jus, and Apple Crisp as served on MS Prinsendam December 14, 2013.

Today’s care list:

@lindaler I believe you are on the Grand South America and have a favor to ask.  Pastor Ed Voosen will be the Protestant Chaplain on your voyage.  Please tell him Hi from Roy from Maryland.

He has been chaplain on most of Crystal's world voyages and I have sailed with him (and his wife Ruth) several times.

Mr. 67, I'm sorry for your glitch and I'm sure it will get straightened out. All lines have some snafoo's. Our Viking and Cunard cruises come to mind..Remember the wonderful hours onboard with your sweetheart and no matter which cruise line you choose in the future, I wish you smooth winds and calm seas.

Have a great round of golf today!

Thank you for today’s Report & Daily, Rich. Very cloudy here this morning.
@kazu Jacqui 🤞🏻That you make it to San Diego today . And @summer slope Dixie, 🤞🏻that George escapes COVID jail today!

Roy, thank you for keeping our lists Today I start organizing for my trip home next week. I am trying to travel very lightly, so I do not have to check a bag. We’ll see how I do.  Off to the gym. Bindi walks and chores. I also need to tackle my files and weed out old stuff.

If only losing weight was this easy….

Coffee Pot Cellars 2014 Merlot (North Fork of Long Island)

A Long Island vintner- wine not?

I usually do not gravitate towards merlots, but I have never encountered a wine from Long Island before, so I would love to taste it. A bit elusive, I found a few online distributors with prices starting at $24.29.

92 Wine Enthusiast

Aromas of graphite and crushed herbs lend a linear, driven feel to the nose, yet there's plenty of generosity by way of black currant and plum at the core. The medium-bodied palate shows a delightful mix of taut dark-berry fruit balanced by accents of graphite and sage. While enjoyable now, this has the structure and stuffing to last through 2028.

Good morning Daily Friends!

Happy Anniversary Sharon and Craig!

Day 4 on beautiful Rotterdam. A bit cloudy and We may get some liquid sunshine. We seem to have a small flock of birds flying along with us.

We are headed to Bonaire. We will stay onboard until we have a berth available to dock at the pier, around 4 pm. Til then it will be tender boats.

When my sweet husband wakes and I set him up with his coffee, fruit, and news channel, I'll be going on my morning walk.

Praying Jacqui gets out of the weather and into San Diego safely. Prayers for our wonderful friends needing an extra hug today.

Perhaps HAL will pay attention when you dispute the charge with your cc company.  It is disappointing to hear that you could not talk to anyone in customer relations.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report.  It sounds like I should like today’s meal suggestion, I’ll wait for @dfish recipes and pictures to confirm.  Energy conservation is important. We are always on the lookout for ways to improve our energy consumption.  I’m currently waiting on a service person to do a preventative maintenance on our tankless water heater.  Time to check in for work.  I hope everyone has a good day today.

Good morning from Roatan, Honduras.

I’m finally starting to feel alive.

I am writing quickly before I get knocked off this pathetic internet.

I think dial-up would be faster.  I took some pictures with my phone but cannot upload them.

They will have to wait.

Prayers for all who need them. Cheers to those celebrating.

Even with slow internet, it sure beats that dumpy apartment.

Hope everyone has a good day.

God Bless,

Terri

Thank you Joy.

Pauline is at a local retail outlet with 2 of her friends but loves hugs.

I hope you are both having an amazing cruise.

This was Pauline on the morning of our last cruise.

No problems or pain and hopefully when the stitches come out next Monday I can start putting some cream on any scar.

Graham.
