Off topic, but Kellogg’s cereals were developed as an anaphrodisiac! John Harvey Kellogg was a crazy Adventist obsessed with controlling people’s sex drives through food, so steer away from those corn flakes during the cruise 😂

Can someone on board please tell us how the temperature is on board? It’s going to be in the 60’s as a high next week, so I was not planning on taking shorts. If the boat is warm, I will revisit that plan.

Did we confirm that the dome is not adults only? The video is very confusing he states several occasions that it is but in the comments he says its not.

 

Must admit I surprised it was due to  it would be  Hard to police having one policy for day and night and being touted as family ship strange to ban them.

 

Do have any news on Park 19 on reason for the delay from videos all looks like it's there and ready to go?

We got some differing news on a post (don't remember which thread) that I didn't have time to refer to that mentioned "on cruisedeckplans.com."  So this reminded me and I went to check it out.  Sure enough it is on that site but given that it isn't the official Princess site, no one should take it as gospel (which you can't even do with the Princess site).  This may be the reason no one, as far as I know, has been able to provide a description of DO signature benefits and upgrades from the official website.

I believe they are waiting on a third safety inspection - didn't sound like it would happen during the first cruise.

Exactly - since most sites prroated their descriptions a long time ago - when the ship and Signature Suites were announced it's quite possible ingirmation has changed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can anyone report on drink service in the Casino given there isn’t a bar located inside the Casino?  Not having a bar there is very disappointing since the bar is a great place to make friends, take a short break and catch up on sporting events while gambling.

Carpaccio can be either completely raw, or quick seared on the outside, but still very close to raw throughout.

I contacted princess to get more information and I was passed around to three different people. The only person that could tell me anything was the concierge department. She stated it received “reserve benefits” but could not tell me where to find that in writing.

I have had it like this, and this looks delicious.  The picture on Princess just looked like it was more than seared. Probably growing pains.

The runaround you received is why unless it is in writing you don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to Princess and, for that matter, most other vendors.

Thanks for your report. It confirms something that I suspected. A video posted YT (and linked earlier in this thread) showed a detailed view of the Lido Deck. One thing I noticed was the copious protected bistro seating around the perimeter, just like prior ships. But why?  Horizon Court/World Market isn’t up there on Sun. These tables are very useful as overflow from the buffet area on other ships but seem like an awful lot of seating for ice cream cones and pizza slices on Sun. This same type of protected seating seems to be missing around The Eatery.
