Nieuw Amsterdam in Port Everglades on January 22, 2023

Sorry folks….in all the sailaways that @Scrapnana did, I don’t remember this circumstance, but I’m sure it's happened!  This is a full country music charter, with an itinerary that HAL doesn’t normally do, so I don’t have a photo of the itinerary.  The ms Nieuw Amsterdam will be at pier 21 from 5:30 am to 11:00 pm, (late departure) and she is leaving on a 7 day itinerary, shown below. (Gotta say, I’m sure learning lots from filling in for Scrapnana!)

 

 

Also in port is Celebrity Reflection at pier 29 (4:30 am to 4:30 pm).  Regal Princess at pier 2 (5:00 am – 3:30 pm) Odyssey Of The Seas at pier 18 (5:15 am – 5:00 pm), Celebrity Beyond at pier 25 (6:00 am to 3:30 pm), and

You have to work with what's available and I think you handled the situation perfectly.  I'll try to watch the arrival but will long be in bed at 11:30.

If NA really goes at 11 pm I won't see it, but last week said 11pm early and it was changed to 7 pm - which is when she left.

 

I do plan to be here - once I see the port schedule shows an earlier time. If it is 11 pm - no way can I stay up that late.

Still says 11 pm - so with the charter - I'm guessing waiting for a guest - or a concert with the performer getting back off the ship in Fort Lauderdale.

I think I figured out why the NA is leaving late. The Oak Ridge Boys are doing two shows this evening at 7:00 and 9:00 PM on the MainStage.
