Why doesn't she just ask one of the officers on the ship?

Because asking an officer is not much better than asking a customer service rep or PCC.  They are going to tell you what they are told to tell you, truth or not, or worse a personal opinion.

Someone one board heard they were not stopping tomorrow, but it seems early to make that call.  Has anyone heard anything?

Pick up phone, dial "0", and ask guest services.

That decision is usually not made until the morning when the captain assesses the conditions.

Windy says 20 kt winds gusting to 27 kts. It would not be the best tendering weather (if you are sea sick on the ship, the tenders will be bouncing).

She is having issues with Sea Sickness and was really hoping to get off the ship.

If she is having trouble with seasickness, hav her try some sliced green apples with a little salt. As someone with constant nausea, I can attest it work pretty well, especially for seasickness.

Sadly on the cruise we just got off of on Sunday there were no green apples the whole time. And we had 5 VERY rocky days out to Hawaii. (this was on Carnvial)

North wind at GSC - Berry Islands, forecast in the morning worsening, wind at 20 gusting to 27 knots & waves at 3 to 4 ft. and swell, not safe to send passengers & crew ashore, returning to the ship via tender ... even worst. Imagine a vertical movement of 3 to 5 ft. on that floating platform that you must step on & off.  This, IMHO, strictly a safety call by NCL.

Seas are pretty calm this morning.  Probably will be stopping at GSC today.

This sort of flies in the face of unsubstantiated rumour!!  You're not going to suggest that I ought not trust everything I see on social media, are you?

Aren't you on your way to work 😁 LOL

Looking at forecast ahead in case the ship has to make a last minute change of plans & stop at GSC on Sunday ... instead of Amber Cove, DR
