Arrival time

There is absolutely no formula for when you can pick arrival times.  I've had it as early as 59 days.  That's when I start checking....everyday.

That is absolutely ridiculous:

1.  Princess knows what the ship is.

2.  Princess knows where she will be ported.

3.  Princess knows how many passengers they need to process.

4.  Princess has done it before (at that port) on most of their voyages.

5.  Princess NEVER announces when arrival times can be picked.

6.  Princess rarely checks arrival times.

And you wonder why her "loyal" passengers are frustrated with Princess.

I’m in green lane in the app. When can I select my arrival time ?

TIA

At this point in time it really doesn't make much difference what time you select but someday they might enforce time boarding as a normal thing.

Just in case, as others have said, it begins at around 60 days prior to your cruise.

They used to open at 59 days for most cruises.  But now, after the restart, it’s been 59 days to about 12 days before.

My last one opened right at 59 days.

Just keep checking, if you want to pick one.

Never been asked to show time when I have gotten to port

We can't count on that as a permanent thing. Now that ships are sailing mostly full, they may at any time begin to monitor arrival times. Best to pick a time rather than bet they won't check in the future.

We picked ours at 58 days prior. I checked every day until it opened.

No use in taking any chances. 😄

I'm 3 weeks away from sailing. I'm in the blue lane and don't have apps. The paperwork says the ship starts boarding at 12:30 pm. Where do I find a time to pick for arrival? It doesn't show up in the suggested list. This is for Ruby Princess out of Galveston.

By your statement of "don't have apps" are we to assume that you do not have a smartphone...or at least a phone that is compatible with the app?  You can do almost everything you need to do as far as getting up to "green lane" by using a PC or tablet.  Do you know how to get into the "Cruise Personalizer" for your cruise?  If so, just scroll down a bit on the summary page until you see:

Click on "Try our web version"

You should be able to find your way from there...but if not just come back and ask for more help.  Plenty of people here who will be glad to help out.

I went to the web version, then to the suggested items but didn't find an item for choosing  a check in time. You're right I don't have a smart phone, or tablet, but I do have a pc which I'm using now to write this. I don't mind being the blue lane, but did want to know when to arrive. I guess I could just show up around 1.

Call Princess.

They can schedule it over the phone.
