Elite drinks

Ok so I am new to Celebrity, but we are Diamond plus on Royal. Taking our first celebrity cruise in April on Summit.

I can deal with the 5-7 HH but I don't get the reasoning behind not doing it on the first night. Can anyone explain that to me?

And this Elite breakfast at Tuscan Grille, that is every day, not just sea days?

And where does one get specialty coffee in the morning? I will pay for it, doesn't have to be free, just need to know where to go for my morning cafe mocha.

We are trying to branch out after almost 30 cruises on Royal, not making any judgements until we have experienced it, just trying to wrap my head around the differences.

Thanks for the help/ advice.

You can also get your cafe mocha at the Elite breakfast, every morning from 8-10. Outside of those hours, you'll have to go to Al Bacio. Elite breakfast also serves mimosas, bellinis, and bloody Marys. And smoothies. Enjoy!

Once you have had your free mochas at the breakfast you can buy them all day at the Café Al Bacio on Deck 5. Drinks available in China mugs to have "in" or take away cups. Elite breakfast is every day except disembarkation - on that day Tuscan Grill becomes the Elite disembarkation lounge with pasties and drinks

However, the casino often offers comped drinks to players, after 6pm, on the first night of sailing and then often daily thereafter.

Hi everyone,

I have a cruise on Celebrity, and I am looking forward to it.

I am Diamond level on Royal Caribbean.  Does anyone know if can order a drink that is not on the drink menu from 5-7 PM, and can just pay the difference if it is a higher value?  I have gotten two different answers on this.

Thanks!

No definitely not. That's not how it works. There's no 'max drink price' on Celebrity's Elite HH, unlike on Royal. It's whatever drinks are on the list OR whatever listed Spirits and standard mixers. For instance ther's no frozen drinks of any kind on the Elite happy hour. You order one during Elite HH and you'll pay whatever the full price of the drink is, assuming you don't have a drink package.

Unlimited drinks on your card from 5-7 p.m. in most bars most nights. Not on the first night and not in the dining room.

On RCI - the 5 drinks for Diamond plus (Elite on Celebrity) are available at any bar, dining room for the entire day.  It's a nice perk.

That's nice to know. Just booked an RCI cruise yesterday for end August taking my 11 year old Grandson.

On Voyager you had a beautiful view of lifeboats 🤣

My Grandson is excited just to be on a beautiful boat.  The itinerary is pretty nice as well.

No, but if you have a classic beverage package you can up-pay the difference for a drink of higher value.

We think the elite happy hour wine is awful so there is no benefit to this perk for us.  The only élite+ benefits we use from Celebrity are the specialty coffees, wifi hours and occasionally the elite breakfasts.

Why miss out on the free laundry - works great for us.

Diamond plus translates to Elite in Celebrity.  Only Elite plus and above gets the free specialty coffee (Cafe Bacio deck 5 midship).  Elite breakfast daily (maybe except last day).  You can get champagne, bloody Mary or that oj and vodka forgot the name.   We sometimes just ask for vodka and ice no problem.

You can HH 5-7pm except first day, that is correct, just the way its always is.  If you gamble, free drinks as well, tips encouraged.
