OVC Valentine's Day on silhouette - shocking!

Someone just posted pics of the OVC on Valentine's Day on the silhouette and it's shocking! 
 

It's shocking because it looks fabulous! Amazing desserts, carving stations, even a free wine tasting! Get the smelling salts!

 

Let's balance out the doomsday negativity with some positive experiences!!! ❤️🥰

I daresay the poster is referring to all the negative things being posted lately concerning all the cutbacks...there is no mention of OVC lunch or dinner...no cutbacks on the Valentine celebration though!

The problem is dinner, not lunch. Those photos were of lunch.

I’m really upset the way Celebrity is lowering their standards.  I’ve canceled both cruises for this year until things improve.  /s

The photos look great. But over the years, I have learned there is a huge discordance between the dessert presentations in OVC and the taste. From my recollection of earlier threads, I am far from alone in my opinion. Presentations are often fabulous; taste, not so much.

That's a shame.  Are you trying another line instead?

Did the pastries taste good?   They always look fantastic but have no flavor.   We would take samples sizes from many and after one bite leave them.  Not worth the calories.

The complaining is that things are going downhill and it's awful and the sky is falling....but yet those that post menus or positive things are brushed aside....just as this post was....

I've always loved the desserts on Celebrity

You have to try them.  They are there and you paid for it. If you don’t like it leave it.  I was asking if they improved from previous experiences.   Things do change.  A different chef, different ingredients and etc but having been on over 30 cruises on Celebrity they have never been that great, also look  at post #7. 

 

This is my opinion and I am sure other may differ but you can bet on it that we will be trying them on our next cruise.  🤗

Don't let the negativity drive you away. Why not go on your trip and decide for yourself?

Ok you convinced me!  I won’t cancel my cruise.  But if they serve cake for lunch again…..  Grrr.  Don’t they know people are on a diet?!?!  🙂

Most of the negatives you are reading are not true.  I am currently on silhouette and am not seeing the lowering of standards.  Sorry you cancelled your cruises based on inaccurate information

I didn’t cancel my cruise because Celebrity promised not to have any cake at lunch.  🥸

Maybe have cake for breakfast instead.  After all you are on a cruise!
