Is the 360 Dinner free to suite holders?  I assume it is by invitation only.

It is free to anyone who is invited. We were not in a suite or mini suite or balcony and we were invited. Completely random. Our family eats meals mostly at the specialty restaurants onboard, so we suspect Princess knows our tastes.

Their ads all say for "suite passengers"...but like most things on Princess YMMV.

The ships have less than 50 suites each, so with 2 seatings per night (something like 16 guests per seating) there will certainly be room for plenty of non-suite guests on any voyage longer than 3-4 days.

It is complimentary to whoever is invited not only suites. They said they plan to charge in the future but it's a test right now to see how it's received.  I wouldn't go again if the charge was more then $39 as a specialty restaurant. I don't drink so that part of dinner was no value to me. I don't eat octopus so that has no value to me. The filet mignon was perfect. There are no choices available, can't even get a diet coke. The experience is what made it amazing and worth seeing. The tech was over the top.

I agree that it was amazing and worth seeing. Since, at least for us, it is a one-time experience I have nothing negative to say about it. Was all the food something I would order? No, but I did try everything, much to my wife's shock. You are right about the steak. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We are not wine drinkers, but we tried them anyway. Our friends opted for the non-alcoholic drinks. We were not in suites, but both couples were elite. I do not know if that played into our invitation.

As to what they may charge in the future, I cannot even hazard a guess. But for now, make an effort to take part.

What if you are a picky eater and will not try octopus or if you have food allergies? Well, they offer something else?  I really wanted to experience this, but now I’m not so sure.

After trying the octopus I confirmed why I had not indulged any time in my previous 77 years. But, I DID try it. No, there are not picky eater (I am guilty of that) substitutions. I did tell them about my nut allergy and they provided me with a different dessert.

There is no shame in not cleaning up  your plate - no matter what your granny always said. 😁 The thing is to immerse yourself in the "experience". Then, if you are still hungry, head upstairs.

I have never tried octopus, but I am a bit nervous about trying new foods since I do have food allergies. So far none of my allergies have involved seafood, but there are many things I’ve never tried. I do like shrimp. I would love to try this new “experience“. Thanks so much!

As someone who has eaten octopus - more than once and on purpose - the dish served was the best I’ve ever eaten. Octopus is tricky because if done poorly it has the consistency of vulcanized rubber. This was not done poorly…

I also understand the reluctance of some people to try it. If you don’t want to eat it, may I have your share???

It's beginning to sound like he told me that line, just to appease me.

When I see him I'm going to ask where my invitation is.

It's by Princess' decision who they invite, not the guests'😄

It is our 2nd Princess cruise so we are far from Elite..just got lucky!  They sent an email first then called the next day.

I don't believe the invitation comes strictly by luck. It is selective!

In opposite to most people believe, Elites aren't the biggest asset of Princess anymore.  It is the future younger guests, who make good income and are willing to spend a lot on the ship starting with a full Suite cabin.

Princess has starting chipping away some Elite perks.  Go figure.

Thanks everyone for the insights! We are in Suite on Enchanted in August and I cant wait to try the 360! Sounds like we are almost guaranteed the invite?

Once onboard Enchanted Princess go to the Concierge Lounge to make your request for your invitation.  The 360 experience is by invitation only for suite

guests, Casino VIP guests and such and not an elite benefit.  It is not to be missed.

Unfortunately what you state is very much true. In general the nwebees spend a lot more money on board in comparison.

Except for us Elite casino players who book in full suites as upgrades from free balconies and get thousands of dollars in free play in the casino every year

You got free balconies being casino player and upgraded to full suites, were you paying a fraction of the original Suite price?   We are not gamblers; and we don't know.  A S4 to S6 suites this year and next year easily go from $8k to $19k average $14k a suite for two person.  You must have gamed the same amount of money to get the free cabin from casino again.  They aren't giving away for free, right?

We attended 360 on the Discovery  I am a fussy eater and allergic to fish.  Instead of the octopus they gave me a eggplant dish - very good.  There is more than enough to eat, and it would be hard to eat everything.  Technology was great, a lovely experience.

We pay the difference between balcony and suite price and average around $600 each for 7 day cruises on free play. Often get 30% off any cruise under 21 days and get lots of free play. Yes we do gamble low end slots 2-3 hours a day.  Last cruise we walked off with $1,300 of Princess money.  Doesn’t always happen but nice when it does and we always have a great time

We received a phone call invitation the week before our cruise on the Discovery.  She asked about food allergies and alcohol.  I mentioned that I drink white wine but not red, and the staff knew when we had our experience.

Did they not bring a glass for the red?  Take it you drank more tears?
