since Hampton Inn insisted your reservation was the night before, they most likely charged you for the one night anyway as a no-show. $$
 

And immediately after they charged you for the no-show, they probably sold that room for more than they already received.

Thank you. We’ve already had to pay for the room. I think we will just suck it up at this point. Tired of dealing with this mess. I really appreciate you looking out for us.

I was going to suggest you look at the MIA Airport hotel. It is nothing special but it provided me a place to sleep when my flight home was cancelled. However. It looks like you are all set now.

they are not that difficult.  I recommend you test it at home before you board so you will be familiar with it.  I used mine in our stateroom on my last cruise.  Was nice being able to use my iPad and iPhone without having to disconnect one in order to connect the other.

Well the hits keep on coming. Now air traffic control in Florida is slowing down all flights. Our flight is now delayed. Now we have to sit around for 4 hours.

We are flaked in a cabana for the day. Number 8 for anyone wanting to drop by for a visit. We ride at 11 for an hour.

I would be having a couple on the plane if something like that happened to me.  Actually, it would take less than that for me to have a few on the plane, especially when I am not having to drive when I get off. 

 

Hopefully it will be smooth sailing from this point forward.
