My question is seeing that we are not able to get around so good( we dont plan to get off the ship ) & all the kids will be on the cruise the 1st week & we are planning to stay on board for anther week ( to rest up ) What on the ship, including shows should we not miss or anything else going on. We have been on over 100 cruises but never on the Wonder (remember we are OLD )

We had a couple in their 90s. He was kinda deaf which made it hard to converse with him. They walked in the tier party under their own steam though. Pinnacle. I forget what they were celebrating.

Wonder has a all womens show, the name escapes me, I plan to see. Plus the usual shows.

Congrats on the anniversary.

Love it! Good for you. We will be on the Wonder in November as well.

We love the skating show and the diving show. But you may have already seen them the first week. I think that you will have some time during the first week to scope out what you want to do the second week. I recommend Central Park in the evening where they have live music in a relaxing atmosphere. A round of mini Golf might be just the right amount of activity for you. The card room on deck 14 is a good place if you want to play cards or a board game. Schooner bar hosts trivia. And of course there is the casino. You won't be bored.

Since I've been having trouble with prolonged standing/walking, I've been taking my scooter on our recent cruises. Sometimes, I can leave the scooter in our room and use my cane to get around; however, the Wonder was so huge, I was thankful that I had my scooter too! We've been all over the Caribbean, so now usually just stay on board and enjoy the ship. If you like wings, Playmakers has really good ones! The shows are outstanding! Looking forward to cruising on Wonder again!

We're on the Wonder in July for our anniversary also and DH is 88.  We do now rent a mobility scooter and pick it up at the port.  Enables us to do everything if we want to, including getting off the ship. We've been everywhere before so often we just stay onboard too.  Happy Anniversary!!!  Congratulations!

If you're familiar with the Love & Marriage game show (a RC staple) you stand a very good chance of participating if you'd be interested.

Congrats on the 66th!

There's the gym, then a walking/jogging track, basketball court, rock climbing wall, flowrider,....

* Just kidding...Happy 66th Anniversary!

* You guys would be perfect for the "Love and Marriage" show.

Congratulations on your 66th and getting to cruise with your famliy.  I know you don't want to get off the ship much, but one thing we did that was pretty great with our family last year was get a cabana on Coco Cay.  It was pricey, but we, basically, just stayed there all day and looked at the ocean and ate the food and drinks.  Our kids came and went from the water park and came for lunch.

It was a pretty quiet place away from the hustle of the crowds with our own separate space.  I had my iPad games, a sunny day under cover, and a really comfortable couch to sit on to watch the kids and grandkids playing in the beach in front of us.  It was like heaven.   We were included in what the kids were doing, but really didn't have to move around much since it includes a server who brings everything to you.  Our kids ate lunch with us as well so we got that time together.  It might be worth your checking out for a splurge.

I can't help you.  Haven't been on that ship, but you are fantastic!  The fact that you're online is great.  My husband, who is 20 years younger, still has a flip phone.  LOL

I can't imagine living to 80, let alone cruising. If you can do it, do it, even if that's just sitting on the balcony watching the sea go by. I've told my better half that when she finally gets to Heaven, just look for the cliff overlooking the ocean. I'll be there.

Please! Consider the Love & Marriage game show!! It's one of my favorite things to hear from couples that have been married for 50+ years! I won't give you any spoilers in case you haven't seen this show, but please please go and please participate!

Your post is so great!  I can’t answer your questions specifically about Wonder but the big ships have plenty of spots to sit and relax.  The shows are great.  Allow plenty of time to get somewhere.  Go early to dinner and shows as the elevators get very busy and you don’t want to stand and wait for long periods of time.  Enjoy Central Park and the music there in the evenings.  We’re taking the family next year for our 45th and thought about staying another week after but didn’t and regret it now.

I hope we’re both still cruising at your age! Congratulations on your 66 years. That’s very special and should be celebrated!

If it's not sold out, you can always add another week! Even if it is sold out now, keep checking as rooms sometimes open up right before final payment! We usually do B2B's and really enjoy staying on the ship for that 2nd week! Happy cruising! Cheers!
