smeesme Posted June 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2023 Could someone please tell me which pier number the Venezia sails from in NY? Just trying to plan our trip. Thanks. Smee

chisox021 Posted June 21, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2023 (edited) It'll be either Pier 88 or 90 - but either way, it'll be the only Carnival ship in Port.... Edited June 21, 2023 by chisox021

mar214 Posted June 27, 2023 #8 Share Posted June 27, 2023 Be prepared to park at Pier 90 and have to lug your bags to Pier 88 to get them checked like we had to do. 🙄

The general area looks like this, too.. (or it did back in 2011!)

Parking at 11:50 had to park at Pier 90 and haul our bags to 88. 3 adults and 2 Grand kids 7 bags and back pack carry on's. Not Fun no porters at Pier 90. Did manage to find a cart (very lucky) to haul all are suit cases.

We’ve never had porters at the parking level at 88 either, we had to park at 90 once for fleet week, 2 adults 5 kids (ages 14 - 20), it wasn’t bad. Rare IntrepidFromDC Posted July 2, 2023 #20 Share Posted July 2, 2023 Look at Google maps, where 48th St. hits the Hudson. That's the exact embarkation/debarkation entry.

Rare IntrepidFromDC Posted July 2, 2023 #22 Share Posted July 2, 2023 Here's the view from the intersection of 48th St. and 12th Ave. Straight ahead of you, ground level, is the tunnel you'll come out of when you disembark. Embarkation is directly above on second level, behind the "88". There are a few good budget/slightly-better-than-budget hotels a five-minute walk down 48th.
Rare Bound4Bermuda Posted July 3, 2023 #23 Share Posted July 3, 2023 (edited) How strict is the boarding window? We’ll be ubering from Jersey so feel like there could be a wide disparity in estimated and actual arrival time between waiting for an Uber willing to take us and getting through the traffic.I know you’ll need to wait until your scheduled time if you get there early. But what happens if you get there late? Just get on the next line to go, or will it be an issue? Edited July 3, 2023 by Bound4Bermuda

Usually no issue if you arrive after your window, you just go through.
