When  on silhouette in February we enjoyed breakfast (the small bagels were lovely) in Tuscan restaurant most mornings is this still available,  we are on edge soon and looking at the list of captains club perks but didn't see it listed

Yes, the continental breakfast is  available on the Edge class ships.

yes, it is always availble. Look for your CC sheet on each cruise, it will let you where it is located as well as all other events. If you do not see one ask you cabin Stewart for it. They are responsible for you getting one.

On Apex it's at Le Petit Bistro.  No small bagels though, just regular size even though menu lists small.  Wish there was one egg dish, maybe quiche?  Lack of protein other than smoked salmon or European style cold cuts sent us back to Oceanview.

We love the Elite breakfast option. So much nicer to have a light breakfast, served to us in a quiet area. We try to avoid the buffet breakfast and crowds, searching for a table and avoiding overloading ourselves to the point of needing multiple laps around the ship to work off the empty calories. The "healthy" spa option foods in the solarium are another consideration.

Yes, love the mini bagels and a side of fresh fruit.

You have probably missed it because it is called the Coffee Lounge, not Breakfast.  It is definitely still an Elite perk.

Another nice option on Edge class, though it may not be open every day, is the Eden Cafe.  Great breakfast sandwiches made to order, fresh fruit and muffins as well.  A welcome option to the chaos of the OVC.

First time we had elite breakfast on our cruise in May & we loved it. Usually have ours in Luminae or Blu but elite breakfast finishes at 10 on a sea day. An extra hour in bed - yay!

Actually it finishes at ten every day, not just sea days.  (Not offered on disembarkation morning.)

This is definitely a real perk…On those mornings you don’t need to set an alarm it is lovely to just relax and then saunter down to Tuscan (S class) and leisurely nibble a platter of one type or another with a Bellini and a coffee or two. If I was to go to the buffet by the time I had rounded up a breakfast that early morning relaxed feeling would have gone, with a Captain’s Club breakfast it lingers on…

I had to laugh at your comment about “empty calories”. There is nothing worse than eating bagels if you want to eat empty calories. Give me bacon and eggs with black coffee on the back deck outside of OVC where I will actually lose weight while having breakfast and be much happier than being cooped up inside at the Elite breakfast.

We may go about once during out cruise.   When we do it is near the end of the cruise.  It always seems like we get the stink eye from some the regulars as if we were intruding on them.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Our cruise in March was our first cruise as Elite and we walked into Tuscan one morning to check it out and we just stood there near the entrance and no server spoke to us or told us we were welcome to sit anywhere or offered to seat us so after about 5 awkward minutes we just gave up and went to Blu.  We did want to try it and I think we'll try again in August because we are not in Aqua class and will want a smaller venue for breakfast than the buffet or MDR on some mornings.

Is it a seat yourself kind of thing? We'll be on Silhouette if that matters.

We were on Silhouette recently and  it was definitely seat yourself.  We commented that no one ever asked to see our cards, which was surprising. We have been asked for them on previous cruises until we were recognized as regulars.  We also never saw the captains’ club host there.

Seat yourself. great coffee.Mimosas, Bellinis  etc..  In some locations it is a nice self serve buffet..others feature a tiered plate.. A nice light breakfast..quiet and calm!

TUSCAN on E class is one of the smaller mdrs..nice decor and music..in our experience, Cap Club rep usually attends.

We are looking  forward  to trying it on APEX at the BISTRO...another great location..nice decor and views!

What if my cabin steward's name isn't Stewart?

On last weeks cruise there was one CC person we thought. Erica said there were actually sharing duties with concierge class so Josh and Jonathan. They shared duties. She said that are changing roles a little to help her. So you may see several people as host or hostess when visiting morning elite breakfast.

Are you allowed to carry out a drink or a coffee, please?

I don’t believe so.  I have seen people ask and be denied because staff said that they didn’t have paper/plastic to go cups.

on the other hand if you take your own cup you would probably be ok to fill your cup there.
