So I just checked my offers again and now I am seeing Celebrity comps.  Do you know if they offer any discounts for a 2nd cabin?

No they do not. The primary passenger in the 2nd room would need to be a qualified gambler through URComped.

Are you seeing Celebrity Aqua Class sailings through them? Many, many sailings and ships. That's great news!

For the benefit of others reading this thread, these are the latest emailed BCC offers. We booked the Jan 7th Ascent in Aquaclass and are thinking about a B2B on the Reflection on the 14, also in Aquaclass. AND the Ascent offer has All Included! Hopefully the Reflection offer will be the same.

I already booked 2 aqua class comps with BCC for next Feb and Mar on Ascent.  But I am now looking at MSC with a Yacht club upgrade.  What does the upgrade pricing PC mean?  Is that per cruise, per cabin?

I would assume PC=Per Cabin

Yes, definitely Call, we had the same issues with the automated requests, didn't used to be an issue(I'm speaking about last year).

Yes, you will receive the regular CC points for complementary cruises. You will not receive RCCL shareholder benefits.

There's been a lot of changes with BCC, so TBH I don't know what the upgrade fees currently are. Previously there were all different upgrade programs depending on what BCC received from the Revenue department. You will see past postings about $20/day upgrades to Aquaclass from balcony which I was Never able to get despite taking at least 4 BCC comped cruises a year. What we found is they will reprice whatever cabin you're looking for at the current BCC rate and deduct the internal value of your complementary cabin, which is not the same value as the retail prices but much, much, much less . What the results were it would cost over thousands to upgrade from Veranda to Aquaclass when the retail differential was only several hundred dollars.

I always see people post that one won’t get shareholder benefits with Blue Chip sailings, but I have received it for all of mine 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are you getting fully comped BCC cruises without any added upgrade fees? If so that goes against all rules and I have never, once received shareholder credit for the past 10 years on any complimentary cruise on with Royal or Celebrity

Can I confirm you have a fully comped room (you paid ONLY fees and taxes)?  And that you are requesting your OBC here?

Received the same but I haven't even attempted in the past year; maybe we should both simply apply for every sailing and maybe one or two will stick

I actually got it last month on our Odyssey ot Seas cruise since it was a fully paid cruise. We haven't sailed on Royal since March 2020, about a week before the world shutdown. We couldn't get ANYTHING comped anywhere on this cruise, which was a family cruise so ship and sail date was locked in.

Our next Royal is another family cruise, A Christmas cruise on the Anthem. Was able to get $2K off of prevailing rate due to husband's play last month on the Odyssey. I'll see if we can get shareholder credit on that cruise since we still had to pay $1,300 on that holiday sailing.

Just because I've never used URComped, they pick the room for you?  Can you change it if you don't like it?

I usually forget to ask my URComped host for a certain room, but you can definitely request, if you have a preference (check some sites to see which cabins are vacant).  Then, if I get assigned a cabin I don't really like, I look at available cabins and request a change in cabin number.  I have done this successfully several times.  And you do get assigned a specific cabin number, not one of those generic "guarantee" type cabins, where you have no clue until close to your cruise.

I have found the Blue Chip offers to be not great lately.
The best offer I had is the cruise we are currently on, a Comped Sky Suite with all the perks. I was fortunate to do a bid upgrade for $1340 Each to an Edge Villa. The best onboard offer is up to 9 complimentary nights in a inside within 120 days.

Last March, I booked my first Celebrity cruise through URComped.  I get my status with them based on play at my local casino.  When completing the paperwork with URC, they did ask for my gambling budget and my bankroll for the cruise. Once aboard there was no requirement to gamble.

I was booked into an IV cabin aboard the Apex.  I was able to take advantage of a MoveUp offer to a Sky Suite.  Recently I was received offers from the BCC for next spring.  I called and attempted to book but was told I needed to go through URC to receive the comped cruise.  I called them and the transaction was seamless.  I was booked into a IV cabin aboard the Ascent in March, 2024.  If you gamble at your local casinos, give URC a shot.

Can you explain how a land based casino offer translates into a cruise? Let's say my offer is a 3 night comped room at Harrah's.  What would that look like in the cruise arena?  The only time I've use URC it was for a cruise on Carnival which I traded for a cruise on Celebrity.

URComped assists in mining new cruise gambling customers for cruise line casino programs. Just like land-based casinos have status match programs with other casino companies URComped is no different, except the status match comes in the form of a complementary or reduced price cruise offer on a cruiseline TBD. What you need to do is not only upload whatever land-based casino offers you have but you will need to give them some basic gambling information: your normal gambling budget, what you like to play whether slots or table games, and info like that. They then 'shop' your gambling profile to cruise lines they work with and see who will offer you a fully comp or reduced price cruise, with the hope you will become a future repeat customer. Your initial offer from URComped, whatever that may be, will not require any specific gambling requirements. You will always be asked though, what your gambling budget will be for any cruise you book through URComped. If take them up on their offer and you don't play as much as you stated before hand, there won't be any charges or penalties. You may not any further offers from that particular cruiseline through URComped.

Well, this is another bad topic to me today (Along with the All-Inc Gratuities taken away from the All-Inc), The Celebrity Blue Chip club.

I'm Elite plus with Celebrity, so have had quite a few cruises with them.

I'm in the casino every day/night and went over 110,000 casino points with them in January.

Wondering why I never got any offers for free cruises with them, when Princess fills my mailbox every week with them.

Found out that because the Celebrity cruises were booked though a travel agent, I didn't get the offers through the Blue Chip club.

I ended up calling the Blue Chip club and ended up with a very knowledgeable agent.

He did explain the way the comps work, but they are tough.

It comes down to you get offers on the past cruise that you did, depending on how much you spend for the number of days that you're onboard. So a percentage of what you spend per day.

He offered me $500.OBC and an Oceanview room for up to 9 nights.

I had a 12 night Europe cruise booked for next August with Celebrity. I then cancelled my Celebrity cruise for next August and booked a 16 night, veranda room, Athens to Southampton for Sept. 7th, 2024 on the brand new Sun Princess with a 950. ship credit

My future cruises will be with Princess. They respect my business much more than Celebrity does.

What was the extra fee from inside to Veranda?

FYI, it isn’t a fixed “upgrade fee”, you essentially pay the difference between an inside and the higher category room which is heavily based on room type occupancy.  I’m not sure if they have their own casino rates

I understand that which is why I was curious how much was paid for the upgrade. As I have posted we've been taking Celebrity comped cruises for years, either through BCC, or URComped, or both simultaneously. Whenever I have asked to upgrade from a free veranda to Aquaclass, the upgrade amount always was in the thousands of $, even when the retail price differential was only a couple hundred. I understand the reason for this, which is basically BCC doesn't value the comped cabin at full retail value but at an internal valuation, yet the price for the new cabin is at the retail rate or casino retail rate, which is why I was always quoted the upgrade would be thousands rather than a few hundred. And this wasn't an isolated case, but has been that way since before the pandemic shutdown.

That's seems to be true for their Royal Caribbean sailings but not for Celebrity (at least it isn't for us, since we've had Celebrity bookings simultaneously through BCC and URComped).

When I try to book a Celebrity Cruise through URComped then I get this:

House Customer Check
I have not booked a trip directly with Celebrity Cruises (not using URComped) that sailed in the last 12 months
I do not have a confirmed upcoming trip with Celebrity Cruises that was not booked through URComped.
