Thanks very much, but wondering if they offer bogo (buy one get one) at the specialty restaurants, etc....and, sorry, the upgrade to the premium drink package? Do we call to get that? (at a discounted price)

There is no bogo, but there is often a discount offered on the first night of your cruise.  Check your cruise planner in your on line account.  If you have no TA, you can call =X= directly for the drink upgrade.  Otherwise, let your TA handle it if you desire it.

Do not have a copy of a letter but had a couple during cruise.  Elite were invited to a cocktail event in January and on April/May  cruises.  They festured 3 cocktails you got to try and had music.   Next invite was leaving a port to be on the Heliopad.   (That one said closed toed shoes and these 2 cruises, they sent people back to change.  )     And another a wine tasting

However, with Celebrity changing things so rapidly, the above could change

have a fabulous cruise

Thank you very much, just called Celebrity and upgraded to the premium drink package with a 15% discount.

Not sure when you are sailing but check the Celebrity website often. We recently got a 50% upgrade discount on the classic to premium upgrade. Check often and especially around holidays.

The upgrade from classic to premium is a ripoff.  It used to be $10 a day, but now it's $20 a day, and both parties in the stateroom have to upgrade, not just one person as in the past.  For an upcoming 15-night cruise and a 5% discount, it would cost roughly $570 + 20% gratuity.  Do the math.  You might be better off just paying the difference between the classic & premium + 20% gratuity.  If you don't buy a lot of premium drinks, it might work out better.

Such optimism!  It also might NOT change.

you are right. may not.   However, after seeing and experiencing  changes, I would hate to have someone think it is a given, them look forward to something, only to find taken away.

We are just off Summit.  We got a listing all the events on one side, and all the bennies on the other side.  BTW, it stated one bag of 30 items.

The bag limit can change depending on itinerary and number of elite and up onboard. We have sailed with it set at 20 items a couple of times

We attempted to use the complimentary bag of laundry for just three items on the Equinox earlier this month. The deadline to send out laundry is 9 p.m. on Day 4 of a six-night cruise. We were told they would do the laundry if we paid the usual price for it ($15). Our steward was not the best we ever had and forgot to mention the 9 p.m. deadline when we requested the bag at 5 p.m., which did not help.

yes, the cut off has always been there. The info should be on your welcome letter

I am Elite and my wife isnt. I wonder if she came with me could she also attend the breakfast and captains cocktail party and day pass at persian garden?

Thanks.

Bob

You should call Captain's Club and they will give you wife matching status.   She will have her own points but they will match your status to her.

From some people it is, for some people it isn’t, and for some people it’s a convenience they choose, regardless.
