St. Kitts/Nevis - Anyone have a good excursion they can recommend?

Am booked on the 7 night Ascent cruise leaving FLL on 3/10.  One of the stops is St. Kitts/Nevis.  New port for us. Anyone have excursion suggestions?

It's been a while since we were in St. Kitts. We enjoyed the catamaran sailing and beach excursion, also the snorkeling.  I think both were through Celebrity.

wish i did not have to be negative nancy but my wife and i did the train ride in st kitts and both got sick from the fumes of the engine car that pulled the 3 or 4 passenger cars behind it...horrible experience.

We enjoy going on the train and catamaran excursion when we're on a cruise that stops there.

we're taking an X excursion to Nevis which includes lunch..never been there before.  

 

we have been to Carabelle batik,  the fort , walked the town,  private resort , beaches.. lunch at port area.   little craft area at end of shops..never did the train and we avoid the photos with monkeys..ugh!

 

all depends on your taste.. love this port..

been a while since we were there but we also took the train journey round the Island but and really enjoyed it...easy going and nice to see the Island that way

We did that excursion in April 2022, unfortunately we forgot it was Good Friday & almost everything was closed, it was a superb lunch tho. Jerk chicken. The homemade ice cream was extra & worth the several dollars they charged. We have to go back to do the tours we wanted to.

We purchased a day pass to the Marriott. It was a lovely, relaxing day.

We were there this past February. We rented a jeep and toured the island. It was great having the ability to stop wherever we wanted and for as long as we wanted. Highlights for us were Timothy Hill and the black rocks.

Thenford Grey  as others have said.  There are several tours to choose from.

Seems like a real family affair with his daughter doing the admin, his nephew driving the bus and Thenford himself as the guide.

 

He is a very interesting and personable man, full of great stories as well as a great history of the island.  We really enjoyed the tour with him and would recommend this.

Which tour did you take?  We are considering the Grand Tour with Beach Splash or The Grand Tour.  Any information would be appreciated.

I think you are mixing up tours - they have a Grand Tour and a City Tour with Beach Splash on the website.  We did the Grand Tour
