Of course. In a perfect world, you would always get a receipt. But if he doesn't happen to give you one and tipping is important to you, you can ask for one. That part is up to you.

I don't think that they are being told to do that.  We just got off from 2 weeks on the Odyssey yesterday.  This isn't regarding voucher drinks, but we had the drink package.  We were not given a receipt in any venue by any bartender, ever.  They wouldn't all be ignoring management directive.

Yes. DH is getting Refreshment package, I'm getting classic soda package.  I'll use his 4 and my 4 diamond vouchers if I want fresh squeezed oj in the morning or a mocktail or even a bottle of water. Since all that will be included in his Refreshment.

That makes perfect sense, might as well use the 8 vouchers and save on the cost of a second refreshment package.

Comprehension is your 2nd language? HIS Refreshment package will include all of the things he will drink. MY classic soda will not. Therefore I will use OUR diamond vouchers to get things not included in my classic package ie. Fresh squeezed oj, bottled water, mocktails or even a milk shake.

Yes but you get access to the coffee machine in the Crown Lounge for as many cappuccinos as you want. Self-serve, no vouchers required.

Bartenders are not required to provide receipts for passengers with the DBP, drinks based on loyalty status and drinks for Prime and above at the casino bar. They are required to provide receipts for passengers ordering drinks without any package or status.

Better tell the Crew on Jewel then. "Everyone" was getting paper receipts.

 

I guess that wanted  to better  their odds of getting a tip added on.

Was this your experience as a diamond or above on your recent cruise (ship)?

Yes, you can use your drink vouchers for any drink up to $14.  Crown Lounge has a coffee machine that makes lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, etc but we don't find them to be very good, even when adding an extra shot of espresso.

It is ship dependent.  We were give slips for every drink on our recent Serenade cruise and never saw a slip for our drinks on Oasis.

I think I've gotten receipts about 50% of the time since they instituted that policy for vouchers.

Unless of course , you are denied access to the the lounge as some are stating
