seems the option 1 will get 25%OBC option 2 will get 50%OBC.... I'm certain someone will post more info.

Thank you! Anything other than a refund for those on the Athens to Istanbul cruise?

Will Serenade resume it's European itinerary in Istanbul on June 7?

Probably best to wait until Laura channels her inner John with actual details from what he received onboard the ship.

Agreed. For the significance the town hall, it went very quickly. I only caught as much as I could see and hear. Waiting for the onboard first hand report myself from "LaLa".

Dubai, Seychelles, madagascar, Mauritas, South africa, Nambia, Angola, Gahna, Ivory Coast, Egypt. Seems there are two options for guests. I didn't get the final part of the list.

Pictures posted in a FB group:
1. Immersive Africa Itinerary starting in Dubai on 5/9 and ending in Ravenna, Italy on 6/20

2. Africa and Greece starting in Dubai 5/9 to Istanbul 6/7, the Istanbul to Ravenna ending on 6/20

I'm sure @CSHS1979has clearer....and more... pictures & information to share.

That's a ton of sea days  isn't it?  any  refunds to be had for that?

Looks like option 1(smaller picture) is best and I can't even really  see it in the picture though.., more ports

Thank you very much for this Suzy

I was wrong in assuming they'd follow Princess and VV's plans.

Suzy or someone... could you please repost this image. It us very low quality and cannot be zoomed in. It's not readable like the larger image.

Thank you so much

Not on cruise so my opinion is just that.  I know which I’d take but I’d like to ask:  A vote?  Has any provision been made for those who vote but the option they chose is voted down?  Can they bail w/ a refund or are they locked in?

To get to Dubai, you have to pass thru Strait of Hormuz. Twice. Seems risky.

Segment 2 may end in Capetown

22 hours to go

Guess Royal has decided no  problem sailing thru the Strait of Hormuz twice then to get to and from Dubai.

Interesting wonder how other cruisers are going to feel about that?

Options #2 is an amazing one-of-a-kind journey! What an awesome cruise.

I cannot see how anyone would even consider option #1 in comparison.

Thank you again for this Suzy

I agree. Plus, there are other cruises that visit the ports on option 2, but not option 1. This would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and no need for all those sea days either.

Option 1 all the way!

Why not?

Well, I am just hoping the new itinerary won't affect the date for Barcelona.  If they come in late...oh drats...guess I will just have to extend my stay in Barcelona.  😉

A no brainer for me - it would be Immersive Africa for me.
Sailing round Africa is a once in a lifetime - what’s the point of making that journey if you can’t get off the boat.

The Greek isles can be done any time.

Jim, you're absolutely right. My bad.

Option #1 is the amazing cruise... "Immersive Africa"

Immersive Africa would also be my no brainer decision.  I don't remember which one gets more OBC, but the sea days to stop days are just better spread...and why not see some African sites if you're gonna sail around it?
