Atlantis resort transfer

Hi CC community

 

We are on Oasis at the moment and we have passes to Atlantis Resort in Nassau tomorrow but not through the cruise line. I’m just wondering if anyone has recommendations as to the best way to get to the resort from the port without getting ripped off/scammed? Should we pre book transfer or is it easy to sort it out once off the boat.

Taxi is quickest and it's a flat rate.  There is also the water taxi that is cheaper but takes longer.

You can take a taxi or the water ferry over to Atlantis.   I am sure once you off the ship and walk down the dock to the cruise terminal you will see signs for either the ferry or where to get taxi's.

About $4 pp for water taxi, the water taxi is very slow and you need to walk about 10 minutes to get to the resort after drop off.   Taxi runs about $8 for two, takes about 10 minutes and drops you off at the resort/casino door.

The advantage to the water taxi is that you will probably get some good commentary along the way.  And yes, a tip will be expected.🙂
