Yes or no ?

Yes. I have both applied to cruise sailing July 2024.

ETA: If someone tells you they are not, have them connect you to a Pricing Specialist at HAL.

Are you allowed to have the CCL shareholder, the AARP and the educator discount together?   we have not applied for the educator OBC yet as we are having a problem finding the documentation we need.   Thanks.

@S&BYes, our Oosterdam sailing in Oct 23 we had AARP OBC , Education OBC and CCL Shareholder OBC.

As far as educator documentation , if you are retired with a pension, you can submit verification from your retirement system. They accepted a link to the plan administration for me.

Good day.  I'm not familiar with the "AARP OBC" - I know what OBC is but what is AARP's OBC specifically? how do you obtain it?  I'm an AARP member.  Thanks!

Patty

I just applied for my OBC.  Here's the link so you can too:

I had the $100 shareholder OBC in my account, used Stockperks app to get it there a couple weeks ago. Applied for the AARP $50 OBC a few days ago.  Now my account shows just the $50 OBC and the $100 is gone. Anyone experience this? I guess I need to make a phone call.

Where do you see the OBC on your account? I've applied for both AARP (for myself) and veteran (for my husband) but cannot see any OBC listed on my account. I'm also having a very hard time getting my PCP to return my calls (as in never).

You have to have your PCC send you a new Booking Confirmation to see updated OBC. Call the PCC phone number, but do not enter your's extension. Stay on until you can get to a human. (I have heard that this menu has changed...) Explain your PCC is not returning calls and you need (1) to have your OBC checked, and (2) if AARP and Vet credits have been awarded, have them send you a new Booking Confirmation.

Let me know if there is not an option for an operator, and I will sleuth out the new alternative.

Log into your HA account. At the top right click on My account, then select My account. Then on the left side of the page select Future cruise credits. Then scroll down to see OBC.

Thank you! I did that and saw the account isn't showing any onboard credits. So I'll follow @crystalspin's advice and call tomorrow (or Tuesday, since Mondays seem to be busy everywhere).

Thank you, and thank you especially for the offer. This is our first cruise with HAL so I'm having a little difficulty learning the ropes with their website. I'll call tomorrow (or Tuesday) and see what information I can get.

I followed the others' directions to see awarded OBC. It is not there, but there was a footnote saying "Promo" OBC will not show here.

Thanks all for alerting me to the AARP OBC which I was not aware of.  Unfortunately, I already booked my cruise so the OBC cannot be applied for this cruise. Apparently this restriction doesn't apply to military or educator OBC's which can be credited after a cruise is booked.  I also was denied my stockholder OBC because HAL said I booked a "special" rate.  I booked a Mariner Society rate which I didn't realize was considered a special rate.

@doublebzz   This doesn't sound right. Our upcoming cruise was booked on a "Mariners Society" rate as well and my shareholder OBC has been applied. I would try again.
