Would Princess ever schedule a formal night on the final night of a cruise?  My brain tells me "Of course not", but can someone reassure me?

No.  Never had that happen.

Wouldn't happen because it would create problems with people packing their bags on the evening while still leaving enough time for the crew to pick them up for departure.

We are to do the Regal the 25th of this month, for a 7 day cruise. The cruise starts/ends on Sunday. The first formal night is Monday night which is a sea day, and the last formal "dress to impress" night is on Friday.
