Two cruises in the last month on the Sunshine. No sauteed mushrooms on either. 

From what I've read in these forums the sauteed mushrooms at Guy's Burgers have been gone for a couple of months now. I asked a server why they were no longer in the toppings bar and he said too many people loading up plates full of the shrooms and they couldn't keep up with refilling them. So they just removed them. I wonder if Guy Fieri is aware, or even cares? Same with the fries. One day it's the original delicious seasoned fries, the next day it's standard buffet fries with salt only.

Mushrooms are gone fleetwide and have been for at least a year.

We were on the Horizon last month and both DH and I said how Guy's burgers were not the same as when they first came out,  not bad but sure not as good.  But,  most of the time we saw the long lines to get them... We prefer blue cantina.   Isn't it nice when you have a choice!

Pretty sure it's different buns and definitely different fries. The burgers themselves seem to be the same to me. The toppings, other than the ones that are now gone, are the same. I don't mind the chili that has replaced the mushrooms and bacon on the toppings bar but wish it didn't come at the expense of the other two.

Guys burgers and fries did not disappoint 

Did have a bad experience in the Steakhouse. Unfortunately it was not up to our expectations. Spent plenty of time in Casino which was great.

I much prefer Shaq's chicken. Probably why I greatly enjoy Radiance over Panorama.

This was pretty my experience on my last cruise on the Freedom - but they were doing assembly line handing out of the Plain Jane with fries only. Not just no customizations - but no other menu items. Want the Pig Patty or Ringer - tough. Don't want fries - tough. Don't want a bun - tough.

 

Not sure if it was a new crew or they could not keep up with demand, but it seemed like there was always a long line and wait everytime I walked by.

i love Guy's burgers and IMO the donkey sauce is what makes the burger.  I also love the fries.  It is without question the best burger at sea.

Me too!!!  I've sailed three different Carnival ships in the last 3 years and yet NONE have had Shaq's.  I'm almost considering a 3 nighter on an old ship just to try it LOL.  Making me hungry just thinking about it......

might sound silly, but we did a Radiance cruise just to try Shaq's chicken 🤪

 

good stuff, but my kids ate more at Shaq's, while me and the wife ate more at Guy's

Big Chicken is the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten!  I walked 30 minutes in Las Vegas (I didn't know it was that far away) to eat a Big Chicken sandwich.  Took an Uber back.  Soooo good!!

I think Haddie B's is my alltime fav, but Shaq's is up there and for a retail chain, especially on a ship and the volume they are pushing out, really really good.
