Last Minute Questions

It's been over a year since I've been on a HAL ship and we have a couple of questions.

 

Is there any bar soap in the cabin bathroom?  (I seem to remember dispensers.). If not, has anyone gotten some on request?

 

Has sending messages on the Navigator app to others onboard improved any?

No bar soap.    Haven't asked.   I would bring your own.  
 

Sending Messages works but you don't get a notification.   You have to open the navigator app and check.   You will see a numbered alert but you don't get a notification on your phone.  No change.

I use iPhones - I get notifications for events, dinners, and appointments.   But I don't get a notification for a new chat message.   I have turned on every notification possible - but I don't get a notification for new chat messages.

Weird.  I get them on mine.  I think I have some screenshots somewhere.  I’ll take a look.

I thought I have in the past - but I have been trying it right now - nothing - I will keep trying

On the Volendam now, we have bar soap and dispensers. I do bring my own bath soap too.

There was bar soap on the NSDM last week. I was in a Neptune Suite though if that makes a difference.

I was on Zaandam last month and had only dispensers. I was not in a Neptune Suite. I always take my own bath gel and shampoo as I don't like HAL's brand.
