I wish the signage was more visible, like it used to be.  I had a crazy woman go off on me for cutting but being as I do not like confrontation, I asked her to get in front of me. She still didn't get it. I remember when they had ropes to separate that line.

That's what happened to me in December. 
 

I done understand why the ropes are gone. It would help them out as two cruises and I've seen two situations.

Spending more time in cabin reading and watching NBA  basketball playoffs.  And eating lunch in the dining room, a rarity for us.  Poor us!  🤪

I must admit that I have never ever been in a MDR for lunch on Princess ships.

You should try it.  It's quite nice, especially on embarcation day.  Much quieter than the buffet.

Well I have to say that it's been a fantastic first day. We met up with someone from my town and her daughter (quiet member on here) and the 4 of us had such a fantastic afternoon and night. 
 

Love going to Good Spirits and having one of the bartenders recognize me from prior cruises and say "I know you " as I'm messaging back and forth with the amazing Jovie (on the Discovery) and equally amazing Junella (on the sky). Bobby our cabin steward was extremely friendly.  I'll say it again, what makes Princess excel is their staff and crew members. 


There has been quite a lot of things going on tonight and it seems like Princess is working hard to keep us entertained. Karaoke has some amazing singers tonight. 
 

I will say that the Rosemary smoked old fashioned in Crooners was bad, like really bad. So many muddled cherries that the drink was red and so very sweet. Nope, not going to do it! 
 

nice to see the new blue bags back in the stateroom. I like the new design. 
still don't get the whole light thing outside the bathroom in the stateroom. Kind of silly that I have to bring blue painters tape with me. 
 

Tomorrow is Princess Cay but I will be relaxing in the Sanctuary, my favorite place on the ship!

Please tell me how you managed to get them, I am on the 4th May sailing and hopeing to get Sanctuary, did you book for the whole week or just chosen days, was there a queue and did you board early from Elite lounge?

we spent 40 days on the Enchanted earlier this  year......and noted that on some days they put out the ropes, and on some days took them down. I thought it very odd every time I noticed the changes.

we were one of the first to board. Didn't even get to sit down on the elite lounge before they said we are boarding. 
 

I would suggest getting to the port early and making this your priority as move on board. The sea days always sell out first.

If you are up in the sanctuary, order from their lunch menu. The grilled shrimp with white bean salad and gazpacho are great. As it the fattoush salad. Very light. 
 

medallion app orders have gone well today. Coffee and a fruit place delivered to the stateroom for breakfast and 2 cappuccinos delivered to the sanctuary. 
 

I feel so very spoiled today.

I'm along for the ride!  I cruise exclusively with CCL now.  Have not been on Princess since Oct., 2007!  Aquaintences went on Enchanted and raved....and I discovered she'll be in my homeport area so I booked her 9/14-9/21/24.  Very excited but also a bit nervous as I'm a solo cruiser and know nothing about anything about Princess!

@Cruisin Karen This board is the perfect place to learn about Princess and there are a lot of very helpful members.  

I have cruised many times on Princess but this is my first on the Enchanted and I must say that day 2 has been just as wonderful as day one so far.  I'm sure you will love your sailing.

Just seeing this thread after being off the grid for a few days.  You sure are on a hot streak at getting Sanctuary chairs!  Enchanted is one of our favorite ships in the Royal class.  It incorporated all of the "missing" features from the other ships, although they got rid of Vines.  We spent our cocktail hours at the Crown Grill bar as they had the best wine selection.

Dinner at Catch tonight. We both had the lobster Appy which was amazing. The steak frites, I have had better cuts of beef and it was much better on The Sky. The Dover Sole once again stole the show. I don't eat fish but will be ordering that in the next few days. Dessert was great.

So there have been discussions over ordering drinks not in the menu that have more than one liquor. 
tonight I asked at the Irish pub about an Irish car bomb. 1/2 oz one liquor and 1/2 oz other in a shot class and the the Guinness. The answer was no, that was considered 3 cocktails. 
So a Chairman of the board is only considered me drunk even though there is various liquors. This was going to be considered 3 drinks. 
 

go figure!
