Both ships our CC friends are on are North bound but to two completely different itineraries - one to the Great Land and the other in the foot steps of the Vikings.  Whichever one they have chosen, we hope they enjoy all their sights on land and time on board their BHB and, of course, we wish them fair winds and smooth seas.

We started sailing out of Ijmuiden at 20:45 instead of 15:00 due to operational delays that were not communicated to us.  It didn't bother us and it is nice to be back at sea now.

Our planned Greenland stops have been cancelled due to the current ice conditions.  We will stop in Greenland at Nuuk instead for a long day before heading to our Canadian ports.  To visit Nuuk our stop at Grundarfjorour Iceland has also had to cancelled.  We have never been to Nuuk so it will be interesting to visit.  It is nice of HAL to get us to a Greenland port with the current ice conditions. 

We are looking forward to our cruise despite the port changes (can't fight nature) and want to thank everyone for their best wishes.
