Is the Elite and above Happy Hour still taking place in a certain venue on the ship or can Elite members also get drinks at any bar during the

the Happy Hour 5 to 7 period?

At most bars from 5-7, Captains Club benefit sheet will be in  your cabin will state which bars are not included.  There is a venue designated for HH 2 or 3 times per sailing should you want to connect with others.  (Drinks available at other bars also on those nights) That info will also be in your cabin.

I wonder if you could get a dark and stormy during Elite hour ?🤔

Or would it be better to ask for some Bacardi dark rum and ginger beer  😉😁

I don’t think you can get Bacardi dark without a drink package.  The Bacardi they pour is the standard white rum.

Our up coming TA cruise will be the first one since 2017 that we wouldn’t have the drink package

And back than they did have dark rum on the elite HH

it is hard to pay more for the drink package than what the cruise cost , and $1600 can buy a lot of drinks 🥃🍷🍸🍻😉😁

I couldn't agree more.  Makes one miss the good old days of Good, Better, Best when you could get the included Basic drink package and then upgrade for $10 a day.. which would be more than covered by the OBC.

The reason I always have the Premium is my wife wants to eat in Luminae which means booking the Retreat which includes the mandatory drink and WiFi packages, unless you are Zenith, which we are not.

I agree that it’s very doubtful that they would pour you the correct rum to make a dark and stormy during the happy hour

Which is probably a good thing , never found them to be tasty

On the cruises prior to covid they served some nice canapes with shrimp and salmon at the sky lounge during HH. The captain club host was Chris and he made sure they kept coming around with full platters

I have found that most bars have "bar snacks" if you ask for them. That's the salty trail mix.

Yes, they have a good trail mix at the Eden bar on the E class ships.  Also snacks sometimes at the Martini bar but we found it’s much easier to get the trail mix at the Eden bar.

So we do get happy hour drinks on embarktion day?    I thought I read some where that it was not included.

As mentioned earlier, this was changed recently to include embarkation day in the Elite Happy Hour/

And a very good change!

We were onboard in May and noticed on the list of benefits that there was no mention of first day exclusion for HH so I called immediately to confirm. Of course, we enjoyed this perk that very day.
