As always I throughly enjoying your commentary and photographs.  You have me again wanting to go visit Greece.  You always paint such a lovely picture of the sights and food.  I am so very glad that you and your lovely cousin are having such a wonderful cruise. 

 

In the mean time we are suffering in the heat of the Caribbean summer.  It was so hot yesterday and I am now referring to Puerto Plata and “Puerto Swetta”

Charlotte’s Ultimate Platter was plated much more beautifully than the one I just had at Elite Breakfast in Le Grand Bistro on Beyond.

So sorry for the cat peeing issues…so hard to get that smell out. 
 

Question about your breakfast…from previous cruises you often bring your own pellets but I haven’t seen any mention or pic this time around…just curious if you no longer enjoy them or ? 
 

I’m so sad that your cruise is over…have been looking forward to your and Charlotte’s adventure each day! 🥂 I’m sure you’re looking forward to getting home to Mr and your kitties tho! Thx for the daily updates!

They have finally decided that overnight oat muesli is a good supplement in Captain club breakfast😇 So I’m very happy for this🤩😍 

makes it easy for me😇

Regarding the cat pee, there is an American product called "My Pet Peed" which is AMAZING!  It is the only thing I have ever found that will get pet pee smell out (I have cats and dogs and young kids, so have had an opportunity to test many different products - ha!).  I am not sure if the company would be able to ship overseas to you, but might be worth checking out.

Enjoying your review @Norwaylady. Sounds like the MDR isn’t as good as Blu was in March. Hoping it improves for you both and we get a better service next year 🤞🏻.

I know shopping is fun, but there is so much history that can be seen by taking a tour to Ephesus.

We’ve been previously to Ephesus and it is fabulous; the Terrace Houses are worth a visit too 👍. In fact, I think this will be our fifth time to Kusadasi. We were only there in March of this year 😉.

Liars club was listed for 22.00…. 

We arrived at 21.57 and the 9’o clock show was still on🤪😑 a full theatre 🎭🤪🤪🤪

So a bit of a traffic jam 🫣😑😵‍💫

Show started around 22.12. 

 

 

 

 

The show was fun, everyone had a laugh 🤭

Cruise Compass Day 8 Sea Day

I was awake at 06.30… the sun was not up yet. 

So I decided to read the newspaper in bed and wait a bit before it was walking time. 

 

At 08.15 I went upstairs and started my day😎

I walked my usual route. Deck 11 and upstairs and down again on 11. 

When I’m walking you can follow along on “life” onboard…. 

 Back on deck 12 you have cabanas for the movie screen… 

A large group of Norwegian old people arrived. (Yes it’s more Norwegians onboard than usual) Laying out towels, books and things… then they went away🥵 I walked for 1h 15.m and they were not there during this period…. SHAME ON YOU GUYS 

 

A few rounds later i ended up passing a US couple on the movie area, the wife had little “volcanic” energy 💥

She could not understand why there were NO retreat area outside on this ship, they could taken the movie area and made a perfectly good retreat area for private use of suites, a little infinity pool and a tub…. This ship was just old and poorly designed 💥💥💥💥 

 

Down on deck 10, pool area the chair hogs were out and about… but no people 🤔

 

After finishing my walk, it was time to wake up Charlotte and go for breakfast. 

 

It was OV….. not to crazy after all…. 

Picked up my bowl of fruit and yogurt and then went out on the terrace😎

People watching and ‘people listening’ can sometimes make me need to bite my tongue and occasionally I don’t! The selfishness of some guests and the ignorance of others…Fortunately, we find on Celebrity ships they are few and far between…

 

Chair and sun bed hogging I find unbelievably bizarre. I remember last time we were on Eclipse a couple had ‘reserved’ four chairs in the centre of the Solarium…When they finally arrived they cleared intended to have one each in the middle with one each either side for their possessions…A couple challenged them about the spare chairs (the Solarium was full)…Mr and Mrs Challenger then suggested that Mr and Mrs Hogger moved to one side or the other so that both couples could be side by side…Mr and Mrs Hogger refused so Mr and Mrs Challenger held a loud conversation about selfish behaviour over the top of them…Talk about watching a pantomime!!!

After breakfast, I sent Charlotte upstairs. She wanted to relax in the sun 🌞 

I needed to do some work stuff…. It’s full speed ahead when I return home. 

So I needed to confirm some arrangements, catering/allergy and number of attendants. 

So a few calls and emails went out🤓 

 

Then I called the Queen, to say hello 👋🏻 

She said it was frosty 🥶 during the night😫

So it’s a full autumn 🍂 at home 🏡 

 

Mr texted me, the Persian carpet is delivered to wash👌🏻😘 (lucky me😇) it will take around 2 weeks time before it arrives back. And they said that the smell of cat 🐈‍⬛ will go away👌🏻

 

After fixing work, making sure the Queen was alive and Mr alive…. It was time to go on a search for Charlotte on deck. 

 

I found her on the back of deck 11. 

She was listening to audiobooks and had a great time in the sun☀️ 

 

Charlotte went for a swim in the pools, I guarded the sun beds🤪🤭😎

We had lunch just before closing time in OV. Today was American 🇺🇸 food. 

Charlotte had spareribs, corn etc. 

She was happy with the selection. 

 

I had grilled vegetables and a piece of turkey 🦃 

 

After the luncheon and some relaxing drinks (aka club soda) 

It was time to start the process of getting ready for captain’s club senior officer party 🥂

 

It was live music 🎶 canapés, drinks, senior officers. 

 

 

Captain Ioannis had some words and employees of the month was awarded🥳🥰🤓

Yes, we ask for the lobster and beef wellington👌🏻

 

When I travel with Mr, he enjoys lobster 🦞 and I eat beef wellington or duck 🦆. 
Then we order 2 lobsters and one other thing. 
Since it’s 1 lobster/person. 
If you say surf & turf, they know what you want😉
