I’ll be on board next year about this time, my third voyage and definitely one of my favorite ships. You have a Balcony cabin, what deck? How does it compare? Glad to hear you’ve found the IC, always a good bet for a bite. Sorry you missed having the ship to yourselves , what had led you to decide to stay aboard today? Did you purchase the Plus package? How were the drinks? Crooners is another favorite but it can be difficult to find a seat sometimes.

I’ve enjoyed the Window Suites on Grand and Caribbean, didn’t realize that any vessels outside of Grand class offered them. I see they’re quite different from what I’ve experienced, not to mention in a very different location, but is the concept the same? Suite class benefits for less $$$ in exchange for no balcony?

I’m excited for you getting the Chef’s Table invite. I am hoping for the same on my upcoming PC cruise, but wondered if being solo would work against me. Like you, I usually don’t have wine with dinner but would for the full CT experience. I wonder, do they factor that wine into the daily 15?

The current T&C posted on the website do specifically exclude non-alcoholic beverages from the 15. But the website is going down for maintenance at 830pm PDT tonight, so who knows?

So, remember a few pages back, when a poster insisted that he was being charged 1 of his 15 daily allotted drinks when he ordered a specialty coffee at the IC? And the veteran posters kindly explained that coffee did not count, unless perhaps he’d added some Bailey’s? Well hold on to yourself, Bartlett, you’re suddenly 20ft short. I purchased the Plus package in April 2023. Today, I followed the instructions in the letter from Princess (posted just above) in order to access the exact contents of my package. Apparently I’ve been upgraded to the new Plus package; great. But the first sentence in the first section indicates that specialty coffee (along with a WHOLE LOT of other beverages) now fall under my 15/day allotment. Only “sodas, juice bar, and tips” are designated as “unlimited.” Somebody, anybody - - read the punctuation and tell me I’m wrong.

I’ve done this for years. Easy to slide into the suitcase, and always made for a happy DH when I brought our coffees and pastries from the IC. A Red Eye was the only way to get him out of bed!

I’m hoping to sail on Caribbean Princess again next year, after she relocates to Port Canaveral. I have tempered my expectations based on recent reviews, but I’ll be interested if you’d choose her again based on this experience.

Thank you, I was able to find a few WS available for direct booking online by checking under Mini-Suites. But it does appear that all of the usual Full Suite benefits are no longer attached to the WS. If that’s true, then my long love affair with these cabins may finally be at an end.

Looking to book my favorite Window Suite on Caribbean Princess after she relocates to Orlando/Port Canaveral in 2024.. I’ve tried every itinerary in as many dates and configurations as I can imagine, but when I click Suite, the option for WS never shows up. What am I doing wrong?

Boooo. That’s going to cause some friction at the free pizza stations, as folks load up on the favorites in an effort to replace the whole pie.

We had F307 for our British Isles cruise several years back. It was simply marvelous and we certainly did not miss the balcony. Full Suite benefits for half the price (well, not really but you get the point). And the central location can’t be beat, with its own separate hallway that no one else uses. It’s like a secret door to your private hideaway. I will never not do a WS if one is available.

Cool video, never seen that perspective before. The ship look practically flat on the bottom! Grand is my favorite, despite obvious age issues. So many wonderful memories. And I’m a big fan of the Window Suites!

My multiple experiences with Sabatini’s is excellent. I don’t enjoy steak, so it’s my choice for specialty on Princess. I’ve never had a disappointing meal or service. NB: I have not cruised Princess since the re-start

DH’s favorite part of the cruise was when his DW would visit the IC and return with a Red Eye and warmed Almond Croissant for him.

I wonder how widespread the issue of erroneous charges actually is? I’m hoping the experiences described on this thread are magnified by the filter that only those affected are likely to post. While I do regularly check my account, I don’t relish the idea of repeatedly having to stand in line at Guest Services.

USCG has the prettiest uniforms, imho. Thank you for your service. My dad (USCGA ‘52) served 24 years.
