    It doesn't makes sense that they automatically cut you off when you reach 15 drinks as 14 of them could be non alcoholic drinks. I think you are correct in that the bartender used it as way to cut off a passenger without confrontation.

    NCL and MSC do not have limits on the amount of drinks on their drink packages. I thought I read that some others, maybe carinval?, only have limits on alcohol drinks and not on non alcoholic drinks. HAL is the only one I know that has a limit that includes non alcohol drinks.

    I was on a year ago, June 2022. There was a piano player/singer in the Mix bar and a band in the ocean bar. I would go back and forth between them. When one was on a break I would go to the other. I'm hoping for the same thing this time.

    So Ocean bar is the only live music in the evening? That would be very disappointing! I board on Sunday, hoping to have a choice of music venues.

    Yes, it is really unfortunate. They have no problem taking my money for membership but then wont let me use all the benefits.

    If you are active duty military in Canada, admission is free. If you are a Canadian veteran or active duty foreign military, admission is 50% off.

    This seems to be more an issue with apple not standing behind their products than an issue of where the watch was purchased.

    yes, I am in a small city, I will go to the bank tomorrow or Friday to get USD for my cruise on Sunday.

    I have checked the prices on flight ease for the few HAL cruises I have taken and have coming up and the price is always the same or more expensive than what I can book on my own. I'll stick to booking direct with the airline.

    Was in Japan for work in 2008 I think, G8 summit. There was a meeting for our boss that was listed as business casual. Everyone was running around trying to find out want that meant. Turns out, Business casual in Japan meant your suit didn't have to be black. 🙂

    Get Nauti is cute gift shop not far from the ship. It is right next to the Governor's restaurant which is a nice place to get lunch. Their poached halibut is amazing.

    I am sailing out of Montreal on the 24 of this month. I just got a check in time of 3:40 for a 5:00 sailing. No way I'm showing up that late. I plan to be having lunch on the ship.

    Air Canada also give 3 free checked bags up to 70 lbs for active and retired military. This also applies to US military.
