  1. Of course cruise is different since the pandemic, and I don't believe it will ever be the same again. The Breathe Right strips and other goodies were donated by the corporations who stopped doing that. The cigar lounges were usually wasted space which is wasted money on a cruise ship. The whole industry (and many others) are suffering. You can see whining on all the cruise boards.
  2. I think Carnival is choosing to be cautious. The other companies are not necessarily doing anything wrong. At the end of the day, they will likely end up at the same place, which is TBD.
  3. Despite some minor issues that some seem obsessed with, not all is doom and gloom with Carnival.
  4. I don't know about the shows, but I did read airlines have canceled another 1100 flights today. 1248 flights yesterday. How do those fraudsters get away with it? One of their biggest excuses is staffing shortages.
  5. If there were breaking news, I'm sure he or Jacinta would publish it.
  6. It seems you are doing what you can to confuse people. Carnival's rule are clear. If you don't like their rules, there are other cruise lines. I like that Carnival isn't as reckless as a couple of tiny cruise lines.
  7. and of course, NCL costs more to begin with and nickels and dimes you every chance they get. A lot more pay restaurants than Carnival has. People wear shorts in the MDR on Carnival. How much is room service on NCL?
  8. For the sake of this conversation, false rumors aside, Carnival currently requires testing for the Bahamas. Due to destination requirements, ALL guests on itineraries that include Bahamas, Bermuda and Grand Cayman must complete a pre-cruise test, irrespective of the length of the cruise.
  9. Not bad for the oldest ship in the Carnival fleet, eh?
  10. When is the last time you tried the striploin?
  11. Let us know how that works for you. 🤣

  15. All these people leaving Carnival, yet occupancy rates continue to rise. Yep, nobody is irreplaceable.
  16. You can get wings on Carnival at midnight. Delivered to you. Don't even need to put pants on. What a game changer.
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if Royal ends up testing everyone at the pier. Time will tell.
  18. The post I replied to stated since 2018 to which I replied baloney. If I care enough to look and remember to, I'll check next Carnival cruise. Right now, I don't.
  19. Cans can't be tampered with like bottles can, but they can be messed with.
  20. The Midnight Chocolate buffet was replaced by midday chocolate extravaganza years ago.
  21. I thought The Local was only on NCL's newest ships, but no matter, I have no current plans to sail on NCL again. Certainly not to mingle with 4am zombies.
  22. I prefer the fresh, made to order pizzas of Carnival, not something the flies have had time to molest.
  23. Let's see - RCL has a 522 debt to equity ratio; CCL has a 354 debt to equity ratio. Hmmm.
