The only time I saw Princess reserve whole rows of seats was on the Enchanted last March. It was for the parents and friends of the performers and they were on the first level up, center - just above the railing. I would say they were pretty good choice. You couldn't choose a better seat.

They've gotten to the point where I don't even try to calculate if it's worth it to me. They continue to take away the few benefits I've earned over the years & now try to force feed me that expensive package trying to make me think I absolutely need it. Next cruise in 2023 will be bare bones without any extras. No drink package, no internet, no tours, no soda package, no specialty restaurants and no purchases in their shops.

I thought the cappuccino was strong on the Enchanted also so I order Americano.

Yes, Princess says that there should be no sharing. Yes, if I can't drink my allotment then I need help from my friends. I consider it a challenge.

I hear you. It's also only my opinion but I think the reserving of seats will also encourage other people to save seats for their friends which has been frowned upon.

Try making reservations at around 60 days. I'm not sure why but sometimes they let you make them much further out. Just keep checking back.

I would hope they would release them but what would happen if the people showed up late and there wasn't any room? There's just to many questions to speculate at this point in time. If there's something we definitely want to see, we'll just make sure we get to the DR or buffet early enough and show up at the show lounge to reserve our seats in person. We never make a big affair out of dining anyway.

Not for the production shows we've been to. They've all been jam packed on every cruise. I'm not cure if reserving seats would make things worse or not, although those people wouldn't have to rush through dinner since they know that a seat would be waiting for them. It wouldn't make it any more crowded unless they reserved seats at both shows for them.

We were always boarder line with the old package and pricing so this new, improved package has taken all the consideration out of the picture. I suppose there were to many purchasing the Plus package & they thought the increase wouldn't be noticed. What makes me laugh is including a few items that are completely meaningless to us.

Not a beach towel but different sort of carry bags for regular seating while the people were getting a drink or using the bathroom. Hopefully the normal bar service is now back in action.

Honestly, how would you know, unless you talked to someone who experienced theirs missing. I believe most of the late luggage deliveries are due to luggage tags being ripped off the handles. No matter how fast they are about getting the bags delivered I still prefer to carry mine onboard with me. It's really not all that much trouble.

I don't see that Princess says you can't. Looks like it's perfectly acceptable providing the drinks aren't shared with others.

I think I'll just continue to get there early with my tablet & wait for my husband.

Except that Princess might have considerably more reserved seats than RCI.

That is correct. On one of our B2B trips I returned with a suitcase to find them closed & I just opened it & proceeded to my cabin.

That was the only coupon we ever used and now it's gone.🥺 I had a bunch of them saved up when the Covid shutdown happened & never got the opportunity to use them. 😢
