To me, anything near the Piazza on a Royal class ship is extremely noisy. I try to time myself to go there when the band isn't playing or they have something like a game going on, which isn't possible all the time.

I can't speak for the majority but I certainly did. I lived without all the extras for many years so nothing will change in the future without a package. -
....and yet some guys don't wear any jacket but dressed in jeans with a Polo shirt. Princess has become very tolerant since the return from Covid. Us gals can still get away with the bare minimum and call it formal.

Sometimes I wonder why they let those people answer questions without proper training.

Without the package it's not really that much more of an increase. I do suspect that many people will sail without purchasing the package & that might lead to an increase further down the road.

All they have to do is sit tight for 10 minutes after the show & things will clear themselves.

We've also decided that their "package" just isn't worth it any longer and we'll return to just cruising line we used to a few years ago & purchase just what we need. Maybe it's attractive for newbies, but for us it's the straw that broke the camels back and we certainly can live without it.

They'll block off access if everything isn't open but lately the ships are filled so doubt if anything will be closed.

The elevator must have been cracking up just listening to her. You do know that after a certain amount of time you can no longer hold the doors open & they begin closing.

I don't see that so far... only those newly concocted ice cream monstrosities I saw in photo's. They were more designed to attract children than an adult. btw- what happened to smize cream? Not that I would pay extra for it.

I should hope not. Remove the better desserts and there's not much else left except ice cream & creme brulee.

Sounds OK to me. I'm probably safer on the ship then shopping during Christmas time in a crowded store here in Florida.

I attribute those type of shows being produced only to attract new blood to the Princess line, while still providing entertainment for the older crowd at the same time. I know I'm getting old but I'll just give them another chance with an open mind to see if my tolerance has changed. See you there. 😉
