  1. I'm sure you do but isn't that a very limited view of the ship in general? We don't normally hang around the main pool are either but do so on occasion when we find others to talk to. It's to noisy most of the time for our liking. There can be a big difference among the different ships. Although the food is usually pretty good on all the ships it can vary tremendously from ship to ship.
  2. As I recall it was also available on the Enchanted in March 2022.
  3. My take about not eating in the DR is possibly because the OP arrived at the most busiest time on the evening & was told there would be a wait. (which they weren't willing to do) This seems to be common lately as the ships are beginning to fill up without having a full crew to assist people. ❓ This could have been easily solved by slightly adjusting their arrival for dinner.
  4. So you don't attend any production shows, eat any dinner meals in the DR and avoid using the pools. Why bother to cruise at all?
  5. Thanks. That's no problem for me. I'm always at the IC every morning waiting for the pastries to arrive. 🥐
  6. We only save an extra dessert when we know it's one we really like & it won't be offered again on the trip. The waiter can provide aluminum foil.
  7. You're reminiscing about things from quite a few years ago. 😁
  8. They're the ones with the problem, not me. I never say a word about what other care to eat or where they carry it.
  9. Maybe they reheat it using the microwave oven in the closet.
  10. They really don't want people to carry food out of the DR. If there's a dessert you want to eat later in the evening they'll send it to your room. That is unless you just cover it with a napkin & carry it out yourself on the way out when the waiter is busy & turns his head.
  11. I learned a long time ago to cover everything. There's something about carrying food outside the buffet via the elevator that makes people feel they have to comment about it. This doesn't happen anyplace like the pool area, IC, aft section or even leaving the DR with smuggled desserts. It's just being close on the elevator. Strange.
  12. And do so while living with their families. It's going to be hard to find replacements in the time frame that all these cruise lines need. Especially with the anticipated increase in business on the horizon.
  13. I'm waiting for the day when some confused person gets rejected from sailing at the port because of fully understanding their instructions.
  14. With a $900 tip on top of that.
  15. They went to the trouble of changing the pool to stasfy people who requested a more shallow pool and yet they eliminated a feature that a lot of people really needed to gain access. It's strange.
  16. The only time we would want a duvet might be in Alaska & the heat wasn't working. 😉
  17. Oh, now that's a low blow.😁 Keep us informed.
  18. I don't depend on the delivered coffee at all and just get it myself. I know it'll be hot.
  19. The pools on the Regal and Royal are deep (8 feet maybe ?) with no shallow end to speak of. Most people just stay near the steps leading into the water or have to hang on to the edge. The pool on the Enchanted is shallow throughout and everyone can stand anywhere (which we prefer). It also doesn't have the steps, only ladders.
  20. Yes and no, since leaving the medallion on the table will still make it hard for the waiter to find her as they use her photo to actually locate her.
