  1. I'd rather see it on the west coast than Florida any day. Give me the nice new cruise ships without any of those problems that seem to plague those old ships.
  2. It becomes a real problem when the cabin your moving into have people who like to stay there until the last minute. The cabin steward can't get his job done soon enough so you can move your stuff before you have to leave the ship for a immigrations check.
  3. It sounds as though you didn't have time to check the bill before exiting the ship.
  4. I'm not that deaf but I still can't fully understand their muffled voice through a mask. Maybe I read lips more than I realize. 👄 😄
  5. Yes, I would be annoyed to say the least but the few times a charge did happen by mistake it was corrected immediately when I went to the PSD. I would never wait till I was off the ship.
  6. The same thing happened only once to us about 10 or 12 years ago in Ft Lauderdale and hasn't happened since. They didn't give us an explanation like they did for you but in those days not that many people were carrying their own bags with them like they do today. Most times we've been told from the people outside the terminal (giving directions) that the bags can be checked and you don't have to take them with you but if you tell them you prefer to carry them yourself, there's no problem.
  7. From what I've read, the buffet is back to self service. Was this true on your cruise? Did they re-start the champagne waterfall? Were the crew still wearing masks?
  8. Accidental charges happen occasionally on all cruise ships considering the number of transactions they make daily. You should have it corrected as soon as you notice it, not when receiving the final bill on the last day.
  9. It is fresh squeezed (they say) but you have to use the medallion app or order it from a waiter in order to get it. Sometimes it can take 10 to 15 minutes to arrive and by that time I'd be done with breakfast anyway so I just ask for the regular OJ.

  11. You must travel with fairly large bags. My suitcase is 19 inches wide & I haven't had any problems boarding in the US port scanners. Of course they'll tell you that they won't fit but I've found out years ago it's all bull.
  12. Has anyone ever had OBC that was designated as "Travel Agent Grp Promotion*"? If so was it used for only a tour or did just used otherwise like for drinks or specialty dining?
  13. Happy to hear that. All of the crew I talked to were frustrated with wearing them for as much good as they did. At least we can see their faces again.
  14. It's just as easy to take your own bags onto the ship and bypass the porters altogether.
  15. I'd love to be on the ship as it was buzzed by a low flying aircraft. I'll bet most people didn't have time to react with their cameras. 😄
  16. NO- Not to the dining room. I don't believe they deliver it to the DR's. I ordered it when we sat outside of the buffet on deck 16 aft a number of times. It always took around 20-30 minutes to arrive. Lunchtime is always busy.
  17. I printed our test results....just in case something happened to my phone prior to boarding.
  18. I though about doing just that but they don't do delivery to the DR's. I suppose I could have ordered it brought to the cabin and carried it to the DR with me. 😆
  19. I always ordered mine just as we sat down to lunch. It arrived just about at the right time for dessert. If they would have it available in the dessert section we wouldn't have bothered them for a special delivery.
  20. I bring my tablet and my phone but didn't really use the tablet that much last cruise. Both worked great for streaming in the Caribbean on the Enchanted although I had downloaded loads of material in anticipation of not having a good connection.
  21. Our last waiter had extra desert items delivered to our room and they arrived before we even got back to our cabin.
  22. I don't know if Princess will do likewise but it's not a bad idea. Most desserts are usually better than that cake they provide for the special celebration anyway. 🎂
  23. I think you might have a hard time explaining to other people that it's your personal basketball. 🏀 Other than that, have a good time.
  24. Yes, the Enchanted does have movies on MUTS. If things haven't changed, they sometime only show the MUTS movies only on the outdoor screen and not in the cabin the day later.
  25. Kmkub- I'm with you on tis one. Birthday's are meant for 10 year old's & those over 100. The last time we brought their special birthday cake, most went into the garbage & when they wanted to sing I told them to forget it. Other than the pop up on the display boards around the ship they can keep everything else.
