  1. Call regular PCL line and pick the option for Medallion App. You may not get the team directly but they can either help or report the issue.
  2. The flu season 2021-2022 that just ended shows 5,000-14,000 deaths. Covid in 2021 shows 386,000 deaths and that’s just the US. So, it’s not the same. But, you are correct in 2022 it has gone lower in deaths for covid. These are CDC figures. The reason, they state the flu deaths were much lower, is because a lot of folks were masking. We would mask if we had the flu and isolate until we were no longer contagious. Probably wouldn’t want to go anywhere anyway. I certainly would not to pass it on to anyone. I pray it will continue to get lower for deaths with both the flu and covid. And that another more deadly variant does not surface. But, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that.
  3. Sorry that happened. Aloha and dolphin decks seemed to be used a lot for quarantine areas. Perhaps the inbound cruise had a lot of crew quarantined? Whatever, I really believe they should be up front and tell you. Or, it may have been double booked. Not likely, but possible. I hope they gave you a comparable or better cabin.
  4. Is that only happening when you sign in to Ocean Ready profile? Does your account info look okay on the website? Are you using your email and pw? Try using your booking number instead. If you are traveling with someone DH or DW, try their login info and booking number. What comes up?
  5. You will need to fill out a form at GS, most likely. Make sure to check with a supervisor at GS, because there are a lot if new employees. Some Government’s do not allow it, due to security or customs, so be sure. You also may need your passport to show the hotel and reboard. Make sure to lock it up in a safe at the hotel. Also, if there is weather and the tenders are not running the next day, it could be a problem. Maybe someone that has done this in Cabo can jump in.
  6. That sounds so odd. Must have been a Sky thing. All the ones we’ve sailed have always asked: Would you like to share? I don’t think that is the norm. What DR was it? They must have had a lot of tables for 2?
  7. Never heard of sending a photo. I wouldn’t take that chance, but that’s just me. Who knows…things are changing constantly.
  8. It clearly states on the website sailings from Southampton… From a LABORATORY or HEALTHCARE PERSONNEL… What is acceptable proof of a negative COVID-19 test result? The following formats are acceptable proof of a negative COVID-19 test: paper COVID-19 test results (original only, no photocopies accepted), digital or emailed COVID-19 test results or record of COVID-19 testing from a healthcare provider including original digital email notification or personal electronic health record. The negative COVID-19 test result must include: Where the test was administered, including name and contact information for the laboratory or healthcare personnel who performed the test Type of test (indicating it is a NAAT or antigen test) A specimen collection date within the necessary time frame before cruise departure Guest’s name and either date of birth, age or passport number A negative test result using words or phrases including: Negative Undetectable SARS-CoV-2 RNA not detected SARS-CoV-2 antigen not detected COVID-19 not detected Not reactive Test results marked “invalid” are not accepted.
  9. It still says this on the website from Southampton sailings: It clearly states FROM Laboratory or Healthcare provider…as I read it. What is acceptable proof of a negative COVID-19 test result?
  10. Are you Elites? Single supplement on the single room. We’ve done it both ways. Ask your TA the best way. It’s easy just ask. GS does this quite frequently.
  11. This is the latest Canada website I show detailing ArriveCAN. I would just recheck the website when your ready to fill it out, in case their are updates. https://www.canada.ca/en/border-services-agency/services/arrivecan.html
  12. No problem. I always prepare too. Have fun!
  13. Sounds fishy. Ticketed today, because someone forgot to ticket it? They missed the ticketing deadline? You need EZAIR to straighten this out tmrw. You could call your CVP first thing in the morning to fix this. Your original ticket price should hold. Does your flight still operate? Is it still shown on the Delta website as you have it confirmed? If you see yiur flight on the Delta website it may have a new booking number and also put your seat selection back in, if they Disappeared too. This is all good jnfo to give your CVP tomorrow. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.
  14. They will want to see your QR code from the ArriveCAN App, or your printed paper copy. I always print the copy of my documents, like that or covid tests, etc In case there is a problem pulling up on my phone. You have to show your vax card, passport and other documents anyway. I assume you’re leaving soon? Here’s a guide from CC that might help if you haven’t already seen it. https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=6954
  15. Delta will be able to tell you who cancelled it and when. Was it ever ticketed by EZAIR? Did it cancel because they didn’t ticket it? Do is still show on the Delta website? Fo you see ticket numbers? It would also show on your travel summary if it was ticketed. Or, was it cancelled due to a delta schedule change?
  16. Here’s some that have used their free government tests with a proctor for a pcl cruise. Rapidtestandtrace.com
  17. You could just call them or email them and ask. https://www.riversidehotel.com/contact-location
  18. That really depends on your insurance. I have never filed for it, because PCL has always credited us. I’ve had other cruise lines that did not reimburse, RCL for one. .
  19. Wouldn’t that be nice? However, given all the problems with the App, they can add that at a later date. I want them to fix all the glitches and synchrony issues first. JMO
  20. There were 2 of us, so yes we each had a coffee package loaded to our accounts. Same as prehistoric days (lol)
  21. I did see a list recently and those prices all went up that I could see. So, it would make a big difference to try to find something $40 or under. For me anyway. 🍷

  23. I checked a little further and it looks like the cabin is a little bigger on B751 and and the balcony looks a lot bigger on B751. But, you will have a beam in the middle of the balcony.
  24. From what I could find here is a review of those aft cabins. I did see also another review of B751 and they said there was a huge bean in the middle of the balcony. So it sounds as though B753 would be a better view. Have you thought of going on the current roll call for this ship, ask if someone has knowledge of these cabins? Search on CC: Quote A quick search of the Princess boards revealed several posts with discussions of aft facing Category BB cabins - B752/B753. B752/753 have a 3 ft. wide column running through the balcony on one side that encroach into the balcony space somewhat but you still get full, covered balcony and view of the wake off the aft of the ship. “there is a beam on the balconies of B750, B751, B752 & B753. The beam in B750 & B751 is nearly in the middle while the beam in B752 & B753 are on the side. Unquote
