  8. Hello @JaxB1571 and welcome to the Cruise Critic message boards! Thank you for your new thread on the Ask a Cruise Question forum! However, it is the forum for general questions regarding cruising. Your inquiry concerns a specific port of call and was off topic there. To help you out, your new thread has been moved to the Ports of Call - Asia forum where it will be on topic. The majority of your fellow Cruise Critic members that have been there frequent this forum and provide feedback here. Browse through the thread titles on this forum looking for threads of interest. You will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that may be of interest to you. The Cruise Critic website and message boards are both great resources for new as well as experienced cruisers, and we are so glad you found us! Word your new thread title in a way to help the members know exactly the information you seek. This greatly helps the members browsing through the thread titles and if they know the information, they will reply to you. Also, it is best to limit each inquiry to only one topic such as one cruise line, one ship, one port of call, etc. and of course, on the correct forum where it will be on topic. You will get more replies that way. Be sure to mention your cruise line, ship, port or sail date in your inquiry if that sort of information will help your fellow Cruise Critic members help you. 13. CruisePlum is NOT a TA and they do NOT book cruises. From their website: If you decide to book a cruise found with their search engine, their site takes you directly to the cruise line site for booking. They are just a search engine such as our very own Cruise Critic Find a Cruise. However, Cruise Critic Find a Cruise does accept paid advertising from multiple sites. Our partners who list cruise pricing are required to provide prices for cruise only, per person, double occupancy, and are based on specific cabin types and sailing dates and may not be available for all cabin types/sailings. Taxes, fees and port expenses are not included in the price shown. Rates are in USD and valid for US and Canadian residents only. Fuel supplement may apply. When you book with one of our partners, please be sure to check their site for a full disclosure of all applicable fees as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation. For any cruises listed, Cruise Critic does not guarantee any specific rates or prices. In addition, average cruise prices are updated nightly. Furthermore, Cruise Critic makes no guarantees for availability of prices advertised on our site. Listed prices may have blackout dates, qualifications or restrictions. Cruise Critic is not responsible for content on external web sites. Therefore, removed posts in this thread regarding CruisePlum have been restored. Happy sails to all, Host Kat

  17. You don't. Regarding the Cruise Critic message board Message feature, it is available for use by Administrators & Hosts ONLY. We can use it with each other and to members. The Message feature is disabled for members and has been I think since Cruise Critic was part of AOL over twenty-five years ago. I do know for sure it was that way when I joined Cruise Critic in 2005. 18. Yep, that's what happens when members forget some of the Guidelines they agreed to follow when registering for membership. Travel Agent Recommendations Advertising is Not Allowed Too many folks posting any sort of venue for cruise purchase, cryptic TA name hints or asking for TA info to be emailed. Therefore, the thread had to be closed.
  19. Hello @longbranch Thank you for your new thread on the Cruise Blogs & Websites forum. Especially those that may have sailed your line, ship or itinerary before. Also, they may have already posted share requests that may interest you. Roll Calls are for people to get to know one another before their cruise. Therefore, there will be all kinds of discussion! Once you locate the Roll Call thread for your specific line, ship and sail date if one is already created, first read through the whole thread to get to know the other Cruise Critic members sailing with you. Then use the dark blue Reply to this topic button to post an introductory post about yourself on the Roll Call thread. When done with your message, click the dark blue Submit Reply button. If you want to address a particular post already in the thread, click the Reply to this topic button and then be sure to click the Quote feature on that particular post as I did yours so all will be aware of what your post concerns. You type your message UNDER the light blue quote box then click the dark blue Submit Reply button. If the member has used the Follow feature on the thread, they will get a notification that you have quoted their post. If a Roll Call thread for your specific line, ship & sail date has NOT been created, please feel free to create it! Just follow the directions in How To: Create A New Roll Call. Then sit back and wait for your fellow Cruise Critic members sailing with you to join in with posts. They will appreciate you starting the Roll Call! And don't worry about any responsibilities in starting a Roll Call thread. Roll Calls belong to everyone on the Roll Call thread. There is no designated leader or owner. It does not matter who started the thread. If you ever need technical help in regard to using the Cruise Critic message board software, go to the Need Help Using the Forums? Check Here! forum. Again, you will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that may be of interest to you. So sorry this is so long, but I sincerely hope this information will be helpful to someone new to posting on our message boards. We are glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic! Happy sails, Host Kat

  22. Please click here for the only information I have available at this time: Cruise Critic Meet & Mingle Note the following information appears on the page: Please note most Roll Calls are planning their own get-togethers during their cruises. Some at a mutually agreed place on the ship say at sail away or some other date, time & location during the cruise.
