  1. @ole goat Thank you for your new thread on the Ask a Cruise Question forum! ๐Ÿ‘ However, it is the forum for general questions regarding cruising & your inquiry is about a specific cruise line's casinos so your thread is off topic there. To help you out I have moved your new thread to the Holland America Line forum where it will be on topic. You could also research the Cruise Casinos forum for a possible answer. Happy sails, Host Kat
  2. Howdy @floatz and welcome back to the Cruise Critic message boards! I see it has been a while since you have posted on the boards. Thank you for your new thread on the Ask a Cruise Question forum! ๐Ÿ‘ However, it is the forum for general questions regarding cruising. Your inquiry is about a specific cruise line's suites and off topic there. To help you out I have moved your thread to the Carnival Cruise Lines forum where it will be on topic. The majority of your fellow Cruise Critic members that have sailed in Carnival suites frequent this forum and provide feedback here. Browse through the thread titles on this forum looking for threads of interest. You will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that will be of interest to you. I suggest you use the Follow feature on this thread or any other thread where you are interested in the replies. That way you will not have to go looking to see if there are replies on your Followed threads because they will all come looking for you as notifications! If you need more info on how to do it, please click the following: How to: Follow Topics & Forums (Subscribed Threads/Forums Info) Hope this will be helpful and so glad to have you back aboard Cruise Critic! Happy sails, Host Kat
  3. FYI to all, Please remember, since Cruise Critic does not review messages before they are posted and cannot read through the thousands of messages posted each day, Cruise Critic depends on you and all your fellow Cruise Critic members for help. From the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free Cruise Critic memberships: "... Staff members and our volunteers are here to provide you with an environment that is free from advertising and soliciting, free from harassment, vulgarity and disparaging statements, as well as providing you with a safe haven brought together by those sharing a mutual interest: cruising! We encourage you to utilize the reporting system built into the board system; you'll find a Report a Post icon located in the upper right hand corner of the posting. Use it! We will review the report and take appropriate action..." See the following pinned thread on this forum for updated information: How To: Report a Post A User Reported Content list of all the reports is generated for review to all Hosts and Administrators. The list will automatically show the important information they MUST have such as the forum name, thread title or post in addition to your report. The volunteer Hosts or paid Administrators will review your Report post report when they can. I say "when they can" because all e-mails and Report post reports to Cruise Critic are answered in order of receipt. With almost two million members and e-mails or reports being sent 24/7 from all over the world, please be patient for any action. Also, please remember the Hosts are non-paid volunteers working the boards when their real life permits. Most Administrators work regular weekday business hours. If anyone has any questions/comments/feedback concerning the above information about the Report feature, please note the following from the Guidelines: "... If you have any questions or comments regarding our posting guidelines or any content found on our message boards please be sure and let me know. I'll be happy to discuss them with you.LauraSSenior Manager, Communitycommunity@cruisecritic.com ..." Please send your email with your questions/comments/feedback to LauraS, Senior Manager, Community at community@cruisecritic.com. Also, please send the email from your Cruise Critic email address of record and be sure to mention your Cruise Critic user name. This is so your membership can be verified, and reply sent to your Cruise Critic email address of record. If your current Cruise Critic email address of record is not correct and needs to be updated before you send your email, please see the following: How to: Change your Cruise Critic Email Address or User Name Hope this information will be helpful to anyone reading this now closed thread. 4. @SuzieeQ01 Your thread has been moved to the correct forum. Click here for the updated HAL info from Cruise Critic's Meet & Mingle page. Hope this will be helpful! ๐Ÿคž Happy sails, Host Kat
  5. @windsor26 Regarding Notifications from your Followed threads, first make sure you are logged in with your user name & password. Click your user name located upper right over the small Search bubble in the blue bar. Next, click Account Settings. Under Other Settings, click Notification Settings. On the next page to appear, click Mentions & My Content and Followed Content. Click the little down arrow to open each section and make sure each item is set for your preference. Also, click this link: Manage Followed Content You will see a list for Topics I Follow. To the right of each topic you can select change preference and make your choice OR you can completely unfollow the topic. You can also check the boxes next to each topic to make changes to multiple topic notification preferences at once If you use our Gallery Feature, make sure to look at the left of the page when you are viewing your managed content. There is a menu there to select the tabs for albums and images to choose how you receive notifications for items you follow there. If your email address of choice has changed, be sure to have your Cruise Critic email address of record changed too. That is where Cruise Critic emails are sent to you. Please see How to: Change your Cruise Critic Email Address or User Name. Please make sure you have the email address cruisecritic@invisioncloudcommunity.com white listed and/or on your safe senders list & in your Address Book contacts. Not sure how many email notifications you are receiving per day or at a time, but it could be your email provider is aggressive to prevent spam. Thinking that multiple emails in a row from Cruise Critic would be spam, they bounce one of the Cruise Critic emails back to Cruise Critic. Once one of the Cruise Critic notification emails to you is bounced back to Cruise Critic, then the Cruise Critic software stops sending you any further notification emails. Please email help@cruisecritic.com from your Cruise Critic email address of record and mention your user name. Explain the above possible bounce back situation and ask if the situation applies to your Cruise Critic account. IIRC, CC Help Michell can possibly investigate for the bounce back situation and possibly correct. Personally, I no longer use email for Cruise Critic notifications. I have all mine set to Notification List. I just click the Notifications Bell (to the left of my user name over the small Search bubble) to get the clickable list for all of mine. Hope something in this reply will be helpful! ๐Ÿคž Happy sails, Host Kat

  10. Howdy! In October 2018 the software was changed from vBulletin to Invision Community and has been tweaked often since then. Also, we moved to new servers in May 2019. Soooo, changes happen! ๐Ÿ˜€ I can only guess that it may be that when you decided to Follow a thread, you unchecked the "Let others see that I follow this" in the process. If so, perhaps the pinned thread titled How To: Change Email Settings/Unsubscribe: Notification Settings on this forum will be helpful. Otherwise... I can only suggest you contact CC Help Michell at help@cruisecritic.com from your Cruise Critic email address of record. This is so your membership can be verified, and reply sent to your Cruise Critic email address of record. 12. Howdy! The two threads started here on the TEST FORUM have been merged into this one thread. This is not the Roll Call thread. This forum is for members to test their signatures, avatars and posting photos, videos, etc. Now for the actual Roll Call thread, it is located on the Norwegian Epic Roll Calls forum. Click here June 22, 2023 to go directly to the Roll Call thread @jerseyjill started on July 30, 2022 for the cruise. That is where y'all need to be posting, not here. Hope this will be helpful and glad to have y'all aboard Cruise Critic! Happy sails, Host Kat

  18. Congratulations and glad to be of service! For me, it is my 18-year-old great-nephew.
  19. Perhaps something in the following fairly recent thread will be helpful: Vertical (portrait) photos loading sideways If you are using an iPad, perhaps post #74 or others in the oldie but goodie iPad problems anyone? will help. Otherwise... I can only suggest you contact CC Help Michell at help@cruisecritic.com from your Cruise Critic email address of record. She has taken over CC Help Jenn's job duties. 20. Howdy @jlkj79 and welcome back to the message boards! Thank you for your new thread on the Need Help Using the Forums? Check Here! forum. However, it is off topic for the forum. Please note the following information is at the top of each page in the forum: Note: This area is intended only for questions and answers relating to technical assistance in using these message boards. Please do not post general cruise-related questions or Roll Calls here. To help you out, your thread has been moved to the Princess Cruises forum where it will be on topic. The majority of your fellow Cruise Critic members that have sailed Sky Princess frequent this forum and provide feedback here. 21. Howdy @2Oregonians and welcome back to the Cruise Critic message boards! To help you out I have moved your new thread posted on the TEST FORUM to the Need Help Using the Forums? Check Here! forum where it will be on topic. I see you have just started posting again Tuesday 08/02/22. Your last post before that was 02/17/20. And the last post before that was 03/18/13. There have been lots of message board changes while you were gone from the boards. Such as new message board software in October 2018 and new servers in May 2019. Your signature was not transferred correctly. I have removed the dead code. This also includes all the code for your Cruise Critic Countdown Clocks. The Cruise Critic Countdown Clock from the old vBulletin software has passed away and will not be resurrected in the new Invision Community software. Also, do not worry about the number of lines. They are unlimited. However, it is greatly appreciated by all if you try to keep your signature as small as possible. It may take a while for all of an extremely long signature to show up when your fellow Cruise Critic members use the Expand signature feature on a post. BTW, just a friendly reminder of the Signatures section in the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free Cruise Critic memberships: Signatures Cruise Critic has the following suggestions for keeping your online signatures manageable: Keep your images to around three (approx) -- which would include a picture, clipart, photo or your countdown. Try not to have any one image that is TOO large, which then takes additional time for your fellow members to download, If you have a LONG LIST of prior cruises, think about chopping off some, OR rearrange them horizontally rather than vertically; From time to time, browse through your signature and eliminate any extra blank lines, or old countdown codes, etc. Cruise Critic reserves the right to remove/delete portions of your online signature and will let you know that we've had to resize your online signature. Hope this will be helpful and glad to have you back aboard Cruise Critic! Host Kat
  22. Howdy @CHECKER148 and welcome back to the Cruise Critic message boards! To help you out I have moved your new thread to the Need Help Using the Forums? Check Here! forum where it will be on topic. The oldie but goodie https://www.cruisecritic.com/vbulletin/countdown.cfm link for Cruise Critic Countdown Clocks will NO LONGER work in a Cruise Critic signature. Probably the same with the code for your "sparklee Kathy" too. I have removed the dead codes for both from your signature. The Cruise Critic Countdown Clock from the old vBulletin software that we all knew and loved has passed away and is not to be resurrected in the future. This is due to the new servers back in May 2019, not the new Invision Community software currently in use at this time since the October 2018 conversion from vBulletin software. For more information about the situation, please read CC Help Jenn's post #57 and then Laura's post #62 in an old thread in this forum titled Countdown Clocks started back in May 2019. Please feel free to look for a compatible cruise countdown clock on Google or your cruise line website. Or note the countdown clock types currently showing in the signatures of your fellow Cruise Critic members. Find one you like, create it, and then paste the code into your signature as directed by your chosen countdown clock website. Also, do not worry about the number of lines. They are unlimited. However, it is greatly appreciated by all if you try to keep your signature as small as possible. It may take a while for all your signature to show up when your fellow Cruise Critic members use the Expand signature feature on one of your posts. Hope this will be helpful and glad to have you back aboard Cruise Critic! Host Kat
  23. I too have noticed the same with the ones I use via copy/paste. I can only suggest you contact CC Help Michell at help@cruisecritic.com from your Cruise Critic email address of record. She has taken over CC Help Jenn's job duties. Be sure to include your user name, your device and browser.
  24. @MagnoliaBlossom Howdy from a fellow Texan! 25. Howdy @ljhosack and welcome back to Cruise Critic! To help you out I have moved your new thread titled Covid Testing for Cruise Leaving from Genoa to the Italy Ports forum where it will be on topic. I suggest you use the Follow feature on any thread where you are interested in the replies.
