Hello and thank you for your wonderful review and pictures. I was wondering if you had the opportunity to try the Venchi 1878 Chocolate Bar that was listed in the Daily Planner that you revealed on P. 5(?). You had mentioned that you love dessert and was curious what it was about?

We found the Luminae food to be more hit than miss. We also took a long look at the MDR and Blu menus when we were unsure about the offering in Luminae. The pizza was fresh and hot every time (and it was often) that we had pizza. There was also a small antipasto bar located there.

Thank you, again for your lovely review and pictures. We will be boarding the Ascent in the future and feel like it will be a 2nd sailing, as this was our "first". 😃

When in Luminae, on Ascent (or any Edge class), can you order from any of the other restaurants?

The pizza was good. There are many options and there is also a (very) small antipasto bar there, too. The pasta station is on the opposite side and is also good with a special offered everyday.

We also booked the Ascent TA in 10/2025. Very excited.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your journey and taking us along. I was wondering how you were dressing for the ports? Shirts/blouses with long sleeves? Having your knees covered? Are credit cards readily accepted by taxis?

Your post has been so informative and fun to read. How is the weather? Bugs? Water temp when snorkeling?

Our cruise was the 9 night Italy/Montenegro/Croatia that ended on Halloween. It was great! The crew was super friendly and attentive, the food was very good and there is always something for everyone, drinks were plentiful and entertainment was all around the ship. The ship itself is not shiny and new and at times there was a musty odor in the corridors but I felt that added to the "ambience". If you are of a mindset that all must be perfect and shiny and new than this is not the ship for you. If you can go-with-the-flow then you'll have a great time. Have fun!

You can also try walking the decks...window shop and look at the art work...as well as the stairs.

We have stayed in the PS on Silhouette and Equinox. We could order from any restaurant (main dining to specialty) from the suite. I would think it would be the same for Connie.

There is no "bin". Leave them in your cabin (neatly folded) with a note that it is for donation. Otherwise, they may assume you left the clothing/shoes/toiletries by mistake and not donate it.

As of this past February, when we last sailed, I was informed that they do donate the clothes.

Enjoyed your review. Overall, the voyage seemed to be what you wanted so that’s wonderful. We, too, were not as happy with our Murano experience (on Silhouette) feeling it felt rushed and the hostess to be on the curt side. We did mention it afterwards to the Food & Beverage Director whom we happened to meet later on. He asked us to return another night and although the experience was better we prefer the other specialty restaurants.
