I use a big box store. I research and contact Celebrity directly for the price and perks and then transfer to the big box store travel agency. I am then rewarded by the big box store with a very generous shop card to spend in the future. If a certain amount of people sign up with the big box store for the same cruise I am also given an additional OBC.

This has been quite a story to follow...and hopefully the "cruised happily ever after" will be the ending. I was getting worried that they were going to eventually seat you in the luggage hold🤣. Wishing the 2 of you a wonderful cruise and that this part will just be a memory that you'll reminisce about in years to come.

We were also told on the planner that it would be Day 1 in the evening. After scouring CC and asking if this was true and contacting Celebrity, I was told that it is extremely rare for it to occur the 1st day and that it was just a "place holder". Our event was actually a few days into the 10 day cruise--maybe day 4 or 5? Once on board, you can speak with the maître d', or your butler if you are in a suite, and you will get more details. Enjoy. By the way, you will get a very heavy cookbook (about 10 pounds) as a gift for attending. We gave our book away as it was too heavy to lug home and I rarely use actual cookbooks anymore. I either just experiment in the kitchen or use the internet.

We did reserve the Chef's Table and enjoyed it. We ended up getting the wine pairing. There was plenty of food and drink and it was quite good. It was dressy casual for everyone who attended it and it seemed as though we all got along well. We had done it on the Equinox in the private room in Tuscan Grille so the location won't be the same for you. You will have a great time.

What a journey you have been and continue to be on. Hoping that it will be smooth sailings after our next procedure and you can just sit back, or stand and run, and enjoy life. We should all be thankful for all our blessings--big and small.

One of the biggest differences is that there are less children on Celebrity. There are no slides/climbing walls. You can do, as you already know, as much or as little as you like. You can go all-in and order the upgraded packages now and not worry (as much) about pricing when you get your final bill for drinks and specialty restaurants. You can also try out the MDR and if it's not to your liking, request a specialty restaurant dinner(s) and pay the cost(s).

We were on Silly for SB this past year and everywhere there was a TV the game was shown, including the Theater and Comedy Central. Be aware that the game is shown via ESPN so there are no SB commercials. We watched the commercials via YouTube when we returned home. Also, in the public venues, lots of snacks and drinks provided.

It is not offered on every ship and/or every sailing. I'm still trying to get a chance to try the experience. Hmmm, maybe the next cruise.
