  1. Is this considered a specialty restaurant dining venue? Is it included in any type of dinner package?
  2. Thanks. Helpful. I'll also check out some YouTube videos.
  3. I had never heard of this. Can anyone give more information?
  4. We have sailed on Constellation PH, and RS, and nothing beats the balcony of the Millenium class, with the exception (possible) of the Iconic Suite. We have also sailed on Equinox and Silhouette PH, and RS, and enjoyed the layout of their PH and more Specialty dining options. We will be back in the Constellation PH this fall. Autumn of 2025 we will be in the Ascent Edge Villa (1st time for both) and are reserved for the PH Solstice in Autumn 2026. In regards to our favorite, we don't really have one. Once we board, we give ourselves over to the experience and enjoy each it to the fullest. We are very fortunate that we can avail ourselves to the luxury and try our best to find true enjoyment in everything we do...and not do. No matter what you choose, you will not make a mistake. Enjoy the preparation, the journey and the memories.😊
  5. Your frustration and anger is palpable. I am so sorry for the 2 of you to have to go through this physically and emotionally.
  6. Personally, I would go with the PH. Itineraries/cost don't seem to be of much concern to you. Like you, we tend to spend time in the suite and enjoy dining in Specialty and in the suite. We also prefer the heavy on the sea day experience to unwind and leave the world behind. For the size of the suite and the "feeling" that you will "own the ship", go with the PH.
  7. In the past 6 months we have sailed in the PH on Constellation, Equinox and Silhouette. We followed Chemmo's advice and gave a printed note to the butler, on the 1st day, of what our preferences were. The same note was emailed to the on-shore concierge, but that doesn't always pan out. Each time we handed the note over we were thanked profusely and told "now I don't have to wonder what you will need. Thank you for making my job easier." Laundry was complimentary the few times we used it. We had asked for dinner in the room 2x--one was an Indian dinner. We told the butler to work with the chef and devise any menu they liked as we would be open to anything. It was incredible! The 2nd dinner, we ordered different items from different restaurants with no issues. In fact, we asked our butler and stateroom attendant to join us--they did! What a wonderful experience! Our butler even sang to us! He was a former Bollywood actor. The large suite/balcony was perfect for our introverted personalities. We are private people who try to avoid crowds and crowded areas. (I am also immunocompromised.) This is our comfort zone. The service is impeccable, but I tend to believe that it is regardless of stateroom category. There is no label printed on me that designates what stateroom/suite I am in. In summary, is it worth it? To us, YES. Is it perfect--no, there are always issues but we don't let the hiccups get us down. Perhaps someone isn't having a great day, we don't walk in his/her shoes, and neither do they walk in ours. What we do know is that Celebrity is right for us for now and we will continue sailing with her in this fashion. Happy sailing everyone!!
  8. We will be sailing for the first time on Solstice. We have had the pleasure of previous sailings on Silhouette and Equinox. Are there any major differences between Solstice and Silhouette/Equinox? Please tell all the good/bad/pretty/ugly.
  9. I was foolish last month when I was on Constellation and did not go to the Future Cruise desk to put down a deposit for another cruise in the future. A friend of mine is sailing tomorrow on Equinox and I was wondering if she can get a certificate for me for a future cruise if I am not with her on the ship? What information would I need to give to her, if it is possible? I would like to try and get the perks that booking on board gives for upcoming sailings.
  10. Greedy?! Give me a break! You took the time to invest in an insurance policy and are taking advantage of it. Not utilizing what you pay for could be considered "dumb". I say, "good for you!" πŸ˜€
  11. Yes, I understand. How did you calculate the cost of the port fee that it came to $100pp. I am just trying to store this tidbit of info in the back of my brain in the event this ever happens to me.
  12. A little late to the party, but enjoying the review and pictures. Happy Birthday!!!
  13. Thanks for taking us along. Keep up the weight loss--you are stronger than you think!
  14. I tend to ask for the lobster on the Cobb salad instead of the chicken. One thing is for sure, you will not go hungry.😁
  15. Thanks for taking us along. We'll be heading out on Constellation next month. If you can go into detail on the terminal and boarding process and taxi situation, that would be helpful. Have a wonderful time.
  16. Wadda ya mean? Aw, juss fugghedaboudit. 🀣
  17. Next month we will be boarding Connie out of Tampa. Is it permitted to drop off the luggage to be checked in but not ourselves? We want to return our rental car and (short) walk back to the port sans luggage. At that point, we will check in for the cruise.
  18. Just for clarification, a Podiatrist does NOT perform pedicures. Podiatrists perform medical procedures that may include nail and callus debridement. Podiatrists who are licensed in the USA must finish 4 years of undergraduate school, 4 years of Podiatric medical school (first 2 years mirror MD/DO schools and the last 2 concentrate on the lower extremities (hip and below)), a surgical/medical/orthopedic 3-4 year residency program rotating with other MD/DO residents and then, if desired, a fellowship program. Podiatrists prescribe narcotics and are trained to perform surgery.
  19. Just echoing what has already been written. Thank you so much for taking us along and sharing your time, commentary and pictures.
