  1. As mentioned above, there is no fixed dining on the Edge-class ships (Apex included). The website and app will show the option, but it's not what happens on the ship. Pick one of the four MDRs, show up when you're hungry, and eat. Easy peasy.
  2. Right. That's why I'd want my watch to reflect that.
  3. The line just dropped yesterday and will ship in July for orders now. I doubt it's been added to any ships ahead of the release.
  4. I am a solo traveler on occasion, but I just meet people around the ship rather than attend gatherings. My guess is at the first meeting, the solos themselves decide on possible future meetings. There are no solo tables in the MDRs that I am aware of. You can agree to share, especially at breakfast and lunch. I do find that sharing is less of a thing post-COVID, although if you'd like to share, you can. (Immediately after the restart, there was no sharing.)
  5. I guess you won't be buying a piece for me? ๐Ÿ˜‰ I buy their sterling pieces, so I can't speak for the gold vermeil. But many of them are customizable, which can make a nice keepsake.
  6. I got an e-mail from Dune Jewelry about a new collaboration with Captain Kate that dropped today. I have several pieces of their jewelry from my travels, and I like many of her pieces. Just posting for those who'd be interested; there's no need to tell me that you're not a shopper. ๐Ÿ˜Ž https://dunejewelry.com/captain-kate
  7. I don't know where the second one will take you. But Disney Springs is a shopping, restaurant, and entertainment center. https://www.disneysprings.com
  8. The sign at the taxi line indicates a flat rate of $8 for inter-terminal trips.
  9. The King's Gallery (singular) has a nice exhibition on with royal photography on now. If you have time after your BP tour, I'd recommend it. https://www.rct.uk/collection/exhibitions/royal-portraits-a-century-of-photography/the-kings-gallery-buckingham-palace
  10. Yes, hurricane season starts June 1. No, there aren't many hurricanes in June. Note that this RECORD rain was not tied to a hurricane event.
  11. But how would I have known six months ago when I booked a flight for this weekend that Florida would have record rain and severe flooding? ๐Ÿคจ
  12. Being discussed here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/3013371-celebrity-xploration-and-xpedition-to-be-no-more
  13. The bifold doors are cosmetic; they do not stop airflow. If the window is down, the a/c is off.
  14. Southampton to my London hotel and hotel to Gatwick four days later. (I was on a transatlantic, so left from Port Everglades.)
  15. I used Blackberry Cars last month (and had used them for prior trips). Drivers on time and courteous, cars okay, worth the cost (to me).
  16. That'd be hard: he wasn't on my recent Princess cruise. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  17. Disney's Magical Express (read: free transportation) ceased a while ago. Don't pay for a ride to the airport to catch another ride. Just book one from the Disney hotel.
  18. Why wait? Leave a sticky note and carry on with your cruise. Even without sticky notes, I can find my husband -- he's in one of three or four places. Or we'll find each other in the cabin later. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป
  19. Er, not quite. That ship is nowhere near Oregon. From CruiseMapper: Caribbean Princess's current cruise is 14 days, round-trip Icelandic Norwegian Fjords. The itinerary starts on 31 May 2024 and ends on 14 June 2024.
  20. Don't get excited: they're all in German.
  21. We tendered into Falmouth last month on the TA. The tenders went to the A&P international cruise terminal, where one could walk to some sites or take a free shuttle into town. This is an article about that day posted by someone on our roll call: https://www.falmouthpacket.co.uk/news/24338340.112-000-tons-cruise-ship-caribbean-princess-falmouth/
