  1. Is your ship docking at PortMiami or Port Everglades? That would make some difference. It being a Saturday means traffic should be better than a weekday, but then again it's a holiday weekend, so you might want to have, at a minimum, a good backup plan.
  2. Yelp ratings factor not at all into my business decisions. Meanwhile, what are your actual questions? Perhaps someone here can answer them.
  3. I've parked at Port Everglades at least a dozen times (too lazy to do a count) and have never had a problem finding a space. No need for a reservation, which is why they don't offer them.
  4. When is that gratuity charged? I bought a pass this week for my cruise in December and was charged only $149.
  5. Yes, that's the part I actually understood.
  6. I don't understand your question. If you are Elite, put your items in the bag, note the items on the form, and write "Elite" on the form. You should not be charged.
  7. The OP's questions have been answered here: Duplicate posts.
  8. "without having to spend the night in Fort Lauderdale."
  9. I'm not sure what your question is. Are you worried about taking resources from residents who need them? 🤔 We've got so many tourists in FL at any given time that two more aren't going to matter. Enjoy your cruise.
  10. He can drop off you, the scooter, and your luggage at the curb near the entry and then park the car. Depending on the terminal, he may be parking at a garage across the street.
  11. Concierge on Celebrity is not like Concierge on DCL. You get lunch in the MDR on boarding day (maybe--reports are that sometimes it's during the cruise), extra Captain's Club points, and on some ships, a slightly larger cabin. That's about it. Yes, there's a Concierge team, but they work limited hours and are available to more than just Concierge cabin travelers. BTW, most "veranda" cabins on Beyond are infinite verandas: not a veranda but a window that opens.
  12. I did a Google map for the distance. Not sure how long you're staying pre- and post-cruise, but there are more interesting places to stay.
  13. I'm not sure why I'd expect menus for 2024 to be available in 2023. Given the changes Celebrity is making, the menus may change several times before your cruise.
  14. You'll need a passport if you are sent by plane to Nassau to catch up with the ship. I'd book flights a day early.
  15. Right. Exit the cabin with the sleeping spouse and enter the cabin with the companions. Of course, the IV means no one is sitting "out" anyway.
  16. Parking at Port Everglades is $15/night. You can drop your luggage, then park, or park and take the luggage to the drop-off spot. It's a bit of a hike to the drop-off spot, though, so drop it before you park if you have a lot of bags and/or mobility issues.
  17. The safety reference seems to be in relation to moving the drydock to a later date.
  18. I think you have a couple of date typos, but regardless, this is good news for me! 😀 Thanks for posting.
  19. The two seatings have been eliminated on the Edge-class ships but not on the computer system. Equinox is a Solstice-class and should still have two seatings in addition to open.
